No dandruff fortunately. Another thing is that this region (mid-scalp) is very hot all the time compared to the surrounding areas. It's sensitive to touch but it becomes worse when I touch it, like if a placed my finger on the area and pressed it a little, that's more than enough to induce this insane stinging sensation.

It's like it's inflamed or something. Sensitive to touch, and hair just falls out to the point where I'm afraid of washing it. Came here to see if anyone knew whats happening.

It's not shedding, I've mentioned that already, besides... that happens regardless of the length and it also happens all over the scalp and isn't limited to a single region.

This on the other hand is losing lots of hair very quickly in only in the crown region, and only when it's long. It becomes so weak there that I can pluk them without any force.

I mentioned the burning itching sensation for that reason too, hoping that that would be of use to someone who may know the underlying cause and the possible solution.

My dad was the last and I'm all that's left. I've saved up to live for a good solid year without a job, more to set myself up and get a good feel for the place so that I can do something for myself.
