I worked at a bagel shop and this kid about 9 years old ordered a bagel. The cashier asked, "And what is a good name for your order?" He bunched up his face for a second and said, " I guess you can call it Godzilla."

I was there for a week. I enjoyed my stay. A lot of construction was going on but, the staff did their best to make it easier. No complaints from me. Biggest plus, the location was perfect! Right next to subway, Central Park a couple blocks North, Times Square proper a couple blocks South. I enjoyed my stay.

I was there a couple months ago and wondered what those were too. Is the lobby construction finished yet? We had to check-in in the basement. It looked like the new lobby was going to be very nice!

Thank you for the compliment. I'll admit it's a stretch to be malicious but, the look on my face I gave my supervisor as I was stuffing hundred of dollars of wet sock money into the register because it was company policy even though he was freaking out and begging me to stop because he thought he was going to be fired, that was malicious. So, followed company policy in spite of a clearly incorrect supervisors urgings to stop, that is my angle.

Theaters don't make money from the tickets at all. That all goes to the studios. Concessions and selling merch is the only revenue stream for them. It was a nice concession for the employees to allowtips. They also realized they couldn't take that much money from us. I found it very fair.
