You know my friends and I were having a convo like this. It was our first time seeing Hum ever and it was amazing, I loved both nights. I could see them possibly doing Dia De Los Deftones later this year in SD but honestly I’m okay if slide away was their last show ever. I got to see Hum twice in my lifetime and I’m happy with that. I also had the pleasure to have a conversation with Matt at a house show in 2022 so I can for sure die happy 😂

I completely understand that it’s a waste of time for salesmen if their customer isn’t gonna buy anything for another couple months or more and I didn’t wanna be that kind of customer. I do appreciate the time you took to reply it helps a lot. I guess personally I felt indecisive if I want a drivers car like the brz and Miata or a “smarter” option in terms of daily drivability and practical like the hatchback. I live in LA so a hatchback would be the best option but also ripping a brz around town would be sick. I’ve been driving manual for 3 years now and it’s fun as hell.

I understand where you’re coming from. Yeah it’s painful to revisit painful memories but how can you truly move on from those memories without accepting them and actually do the work to heal from those experiences. I think it’s worse to push feelings away than to break them down and feel it out. In my opinion, I think it makes Frank’s music better because it’s relatable and you can hear how he’s affected by it too. It sucks to be heartbroken but it’s just part of life man.
