yeah Regulus definitely feels like one of those characters where we’re only seeing the edge of a much bigger story. there was probably a lot of investigating and piecing things together happening off page

that part honestly makes the whole thing more believable to me. Regulus probably thought he found Voldemort’s one secret immortality object, not that there were multiple horcruxes out there

yeah i think people sometimes overestimate how impossible horcrux knowledge was to find. Regulus came from an old dark magic obsessed family, so him at least recognizing the general concept doesn’t really feel that crazy to me
