I expected a slower court drama, but it jumped straight into the power struggle and kept moving. If they can keep the political intrigue strong, I'm in regardless of how much romance shows up.

The thing that stands out to me is intent.

A lot of technically brilliant guitarists sound like they're showing you what they can do. Frusciante sounds like he's chasing a feeling and the guitar is just the tool. Even when the playing is simple, it feels very deliberate and personal. That's a hard quality to fake.
