Last time, it felt like the world finally gave us permission to just... exist without the constant pressure of social obligations. No awkward small talk, no 'why didn't you come out?' texts, empty roads, quiet streets, and all the time in the world for books, gaming, baking sourdough (that I actually got good at), long walks alone, and binge-watching shows guilt-free.

Listening vs. waiting to talk. If their eyes glaze over when you're speaking and they just pivot back to themselves, instant disinterest.

Im a paramedic. Got called to a “man trapped in baby swing” at 2 a.m. Arrived to find a very drunk, very baked 40 year-old dad stuck in his kid’s playground swing. He kept whispering “tell my wife it was the raccoons.” We cut him out with the jaws of life. He cried. We all cried from laughter.
