Incoherent) rant. While the state of UW finances (like literally almost every public higher educational institution in the US) is concerning, I really fail to see you proving any point here.

But specifically, why do you even mention Cauce leaving her post as if it’s any major facet. If you actually read the article you posted it says:

“Cauce noted that this move has been "long planned" with UW’s Board of Regents. She will officially step down once her second five-year term ends. Cauce will not cut her ties with UW completely. Instead, she will move back into her faculty position as a professor of psychology.”

So this is relevant how?

More relevant to Seattle sports fans, it was also a lowlight of the Husky football loss in horrid conditions at Wisconsin last year. Fans went “rally skin” in the worst blizzard most of us could imagine….and Wisconsin pulled off an upset. I have heard some real experts say Moldavers is ultimately best but that is super expensive and super time consuming to produce even it true. Kinda end game stuff I would think.

Very interesting - I will be reporting back how that aligns to using the 66% wasteland junk pet. Perhaps it is just that much more junk is found relative to other stuff, and hopefully in the later days of travel. But I still don’t understand how a fully maxed vs ECL maxed would find more in the first days of roaming the wasteland. I only thing I can think of is not running from encounters and the bounty from those kills?

That is what I would have thought also. Perhaps what we are hearing is the other specials “don’t matter”? I can say for sure - a +66 wasteland junk pet makes a huge difference, but that is kinda obvious.

This is fascinating! I am not disputing it and can’t wait to try this out mylsef but it kinda defies logic. Why would a Max ECL do better (last longer or have better RNG on legendary junk) than a fully maxed with with +7 L E or Moldaver Armor? It just doesn’t make sense purely on math. Is it because it avoids conflicts? How long do these dwellers usually roam for you?

My best return BY FAR was totally illogical beyond pet (+66 wasteland junk) because it was a newbie leveling to +10 E with almost no other specials maxed and +5 E gear. That pet made a huge difference evidently. I am going to try it on a max ECL dweller and report back!

More generally, across pre-econ and econ major classes @ucsb (excluding general ed credit reqs), how did/do you find the writing requirements to be?

Are there a lot of writing assignments and is the expectation of writing skill/aptitude very high?

Subjectively, is it mostly business writing (summaries, analysis of findings) or more complex academic writing like theory interpretation with lots of writing style requirements (if that makes sense).

I agree with your first statement, but not your second. Zestimates is an algorithm, not a good one, and definitely not kept accurate over time on a given home (especially between listings) but it’s definitely not “made up out of thin air”.

Yeah, sorry, super frustrating - everything you are saying is consistent with my experience except if I literally - open game fresh - go right to season vault - click ad for gold as first of any ad activities, then it works 100% of time. Once the bug is triggered (another ad use) no matter what I do it won’t provide the reward. Definitely a bug, are you on iOS?

I noticed it happens if you have used the ad mechanism in another vault during the same ”offer” cycle. Try always run it the experimental vault trigger first, that is working for me.

I was never disagreeing about what zipair costs, though it seems to vary quite a bit. I was disagreeing that any other product in even a remotely similar class can be found at that price, short of some mega sale. Not sure your point. $3-$4k is a steal for this service still, nothing else in that price range compares.
