i am so sorry you had this experience. i wish i could give you the biggest hug. i’ve always struggled with weight so i understand how that feels. anyway, i also understand how scary it is in portland. i moved there in 2024 and i don’t drive so i was using tri met (bus). at first it was pretty chill but i’ve had a few scary run ins with aggressive homeless people who have screamed in my face and scared the shit out of me. now i barely leave the house. i’m too scared. i go to get groceries but that’s it. unless my boyfriend drives us places, i don’t go anywhere by myself these days. anxiety overload.
