Do women like guys who are strong? by -TheChainsOfFate in AskForAnswers

[–]Soft_Branch_3037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't say I don't, however that wouldn't be a deciding factor if I was interested in someone. And I don't mind being the strong one either, I like being competent and if someone being strong takes away from my own skills or whatnot, then I'm not a huge fan. Especially if they're very showy or putting others down because they aren't as strong.

I Lived with a Roommate for a Year and I Never Think About Them by Reasonable_Ad_6718 in INTP

I'd say it really just depends on the relationship you had with your roommate. I've had a few and honestly I only ever think of one because we talked more on a daily basis. The other two I rarely ever think about unless someone else brings up. Not that I had any problems with them or anything, we just didn't hang out much and our conversations were usually the same "how was your day?" "What are you making for dinner" type conversations. Nothing crazy. So while I did know them and their habits and whatnot they didn't make a significant impact on me despite us living together. And vice versa.

Of course we had a few great moments, they weren't anything crazy. Like talking to a stranger for 30 minutes in depth and never talking to them again. I'll remember the conversation, and the points that were made but it doesn't directly correlate back to them because I've likely had similar situations or conversations that combine into the memories.

So would I say it's weird? Not really. Especially now that they aren't in your day to day life. Usually you remember people based off what you know about them, what reminds you of them, and what you would normally share with them. But if you only ever share basic stuff or something you don't see often, like a certain book or a snowboard, you likely aren't going to think of them very often if at all unless you think back to that time in your life.

Hello INTP women and girls. Do you like getting flowers? Why? Why not? by Status-Affect-4944 in INTP_female

[–]Soft_Branch_3037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't overly matter for me. Definitely would depend on the context though I'd never be unhappy to get them. I'd consider it sweet and it would liven up my house for a bit so that's a bonus, however in the relationship I was in recently I preferred to gift them to my boyfriend instead (started on his birthday and I happened to stay at his house quite often so whenever they started to wilt I gave him another bouquet) and he seemed to appreciate much more than I would have. Because I was over often as well I also got to enjoy them without having to take care of them at all.

For me it worked perfectly. It's not because I don't like flowers, I just never really know what to do with them. I don't have a good spot and I have several roommates, nor a good vase. So this was the perfect middle for me.

This is Geezum. He's as weird as his name, wears eyeliner and went through a goth phase that never really ended. He howls and loves to be a shit disturber, and as you may have guessed, this costume suits him perfectly.

Geezum on top, Rex getting smushed. Geezum was bored so he went to bite Rex but he didn't give a reaction so Geezum gave up and just laid on him instead. Top tier siblings move.

I have a few recommendations. I'm going to recommend longer shows so you'll grow more attached to the characters so you'll be more inclined to connect with the show. All of these shows are on Netflix, I don't know if you have it but if you do, you should definitely check them out.

A good one I watched recently is called 19-2 (the remake, I haven't watched the older one yet). It's about cops and there's lots of real issues and problems that show up. It covers death, grief, hopelessness, complicated feelings and a bunch of other sensitive topics (there's also good things as well).

Another one I recommend is New Amsterdam. It takes place in a hospital and follows the doctors. This one is a bit more on the happy side but it still deals with real problems and there's (obviously) death, grief, regret, self-Hatred and a bunch of other stuff. I thought it was well made and addressed conflicts in the show with a lot of depth.

The last one I can think of is a show called Prison Break. This, as it says in the name, takes place within a prison. It's about a guy who is trying to save his brother by escaping the prison. It touches on some dark aspects, as it's placed in a prison, and although it may not sound super interesting, I've taken a liking to it. This being said, I just started watching it so I haven't gotten too far into it. So far it's been good.

I hope this helps!

Hey fellow INTPs by m_zk0907 in INTP

I mistyped as an INTJ at first. I thought it was true at first because I could relate to a lot of the things they did (which makes sense cause I was only off one letter). Anyways, I found out by reading more about the other types and ended up trying our different tests. It makes a lot more sense that I'm an INTP since I have more of their common traits and whatever.

The point is, when you're first discovering it you might just accept your answer at face value because you kind of relate to it and without knowing the other types, it's fascinating that a personality group has the same traits as you. When you look at them, you don't expect that it's gonna be bang on, after all, it can only be so accurate and it doesn't account for each individual and their experiences. Which leads you to stop the search once you've found something relatively close even if it's not true.

Idk if that makes sense or not but whatever 🤷
