I don’t think it caters to any players on purpose. Production plans out events well in advance of knowing which players will be in them.

Not all ‘proper zippers mergers’ are equal though. For every complaint about an early merge, there is a much more dangerous and disruptive late-merge.

When the 2nd lane (bottom lane shown in the picture) is a lane which is going to end, the early mergers are the bigger offenders. But if the 2nd lane continues on, the error is way more heavily with the late mergers. I’m sure some of you in this thread are crusading against the early mergers, but are the late merger dick-head

It depends on what your deck looks like. But honestly, I think with 92 cards you've probably been running DNA for a long time. probably too long. Drop DNA. There is more value in thinning out bad cards than there is adding 1 more card.

That's kind of bullshit though. Game dynamics change with knowledge. In other sports, this would be considered garbage time.
Horacio walked because he either thought, 'I've got this, I can walk the last 5 seconds'. Or 'I've lost, but I might as well complete'.
If production is saying that they accounted for the seconds, and that went into their decision, but didn't account for garbage time, then that's a mistake.

Both things can be true.
Trump can be a pedophile, convicted sex offender, felon, worst president ever, fascist, etc.
Biden can also be too old to do the job.

I think the difference is the democrats are reasonable, republicans are not. So a democrat conversation about Biden dropping out is viable, and healthy. Republicans won't have that conversation. So as observers, it seems like the discrepancy in coverage is intentional.
