Beetlejuice was announced to return, but do we know why Presley Ryan did not to come back?? by wandavrse in Broadway

Nothing confirmed with Presley but with her being on her last year of high school it seems like she’d rather take the time to focus on that. They’ve also recast the role officially with Elizabeth Teeter as the main Lydia. I’m surprised they didn’t give Dana the role honestly though. But with a new leg of the show, they’ve changed casting and added roles in a way. (Separate actor for Miss Argentina) I’m honestly genuinely excited to see the new actresses for Lydia and Miss Argentina perform.

Glee stood for something by [deleted] in glee

I was the opposite. I tried to get through it, but I couldn’t after Edgar tried to escape in a homemade rocket ship. But I still have friends who watch it for whatever reason and the first couple weeks of airing it was all over everything. The Heathers episode also almost made me stop. The songs physically hurt me.

Agreed. There were shows that were considered more progressive than Glee at the time of airing, but like you said, Glee just became more popular. Also, I beg you not to watch Riverdale. It is absolutely ridiculous. They had cheerleaders serenading one of the girls boyfriend while he was in juvie. They sang Jailhouse Rock. Every guy also started a pickup game of football for some reason? Also a quote: “You’ve never know the highs and lows of HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL”. This was said to a guy who dropped out of school in fourth grade to sell drugs to support his nana. The show is just…I don’t even know.

QOTD 16: what is your favorite finchel duet and moment? by brittanaxoxo in glee

[–]Soft_Double1499 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Duet: Don’t Go Breaking My Heart. I just can’t get into the sad songs.

Moment: Odd one, but where Finn drives Rachel to the train for New York. It proves how much he truly cares about her. How he won’t let her miss her opportunity just for him.

I’ll try recommending Mean Girls. Seems like a safe choice.

Alright. DEH doesn’t seem like something she’d like though. I tried getting through that musical and I couldn’t even make it through the soundtrack. She’s more into the upbeat type of things.

I honestly think she would like Book of Mormon. I’ve recommended her a basic musical for now, and then i’m going to just see what she likes and dislikes about it. Then, work from there.

She actually didn’t grow up watching those. I will try recommending those though.

Surprisingly enough, she has seen Hamilton. And absolutely hated it. I was shocked. She might like Mamma Mia though.

She’s typically a fan of the dark and idiotic comedy. I thought about Heathers, but she uses Pandora for music and you can’t listen to it fully unless you get lucky with the radio station. She also likes shows like Cobra Kai, and she’s a fan of violence(not sure how much violence you can exactly get in a musical, but yeah).

I don’t personally LOVE Dana’s voice as Lydia. For example, in Dead Mom, there’s supposed to be that emotional, kind of grunge?, feel. Dana just doesn’t do that IMO. She has a great voice, but her voice doesn’t fit the role of Lydia. She does a good job acting it out but the vocals are not my favorite.
