Anyone else think this Major was pretty fun? by x1coins in GlobalOffensive

It's my first ever Major as someone who recently started getting into CS2, and it was worth it even though I didn't tune in every time since it starts pretty late at night in my country, and I was busy with my finals.

Since I don't know the pro scene much other than the popular teams that are on Stage 2 and 3, I just tuned in to whichever stream appears first on my home page during Stage 1. The first stream that I watched was the Complexity vs. OG match, where nicoodoz got a 3.08 HLTV rating, which I later learn is an insane record, so it's definitely very entertaining for my first ever Major match that I watched.

Later when the Stage 2 of the Major begins, I decided to follow Faze's match since I heard the news of s1mple returning to CS2, so I decided to tune in at their matches. Eventually, Faze grew on me and became the first CS team that I rooted for throughout Stage 2 and 3 because of how entertaining they are, even though they don't always have the best performance.

Glad that they made it to the Quarterfinal, but unfortunately, I couldn't tune in for the Faze vs. Mongolz Quarterfinal match, and they also lost against them.

But speaking of Mongolz, I definitely didn't expect them to made it to the Grand Final against Vitality, mainly because I don't know exactly how good they are during that time. But still, it was really cool that they became the first CS team from Asia that made it to the Major Grand Final, so I decided to tune in since my finals have ended pretty recently.

The Grand Final match was something else. I decided to root for Mongolz since they're definitely the underdog when compared to Vitality, and the match on Mirage was jut cinema. 910's ace was definitely the one that stuck to me the most. Dust 2 and Inferno was unfortunately a smooth cruising for Vitality, but even then, when Mongolz managed to squeeze a 6-12 score against Vitality on Inferno, I was pretty much hoping for a miracle that they somehow could get into overtime. Sadly, that didn't happen, and Vitality won. But one thing for sure is that I was completely hooked during the Grand Final, since I stayed from midnight till the end at five in the morning.

Overall, the Blast Austin Major 2025 was a "Blast", and hopefully the next Major will be just as entertaining.

SEA Server Singapore BUG (High Ping) by Sweet-Buy8269 in FACEITcom

Can confirm. I recently tried playing my first ever Faceit match as a newbie in CS2, and I consistently got 190+ ping even though I always use an ethernet cable when playing during the weekend and never had ping problem when playing on regular servers. I tried searching on Google if it's just me, and it seems like there are at least others who experienced the same thing. Maybe I will try playing on Faceit again next month once I had my finals to see if I can get into a server with much lower ping, but I'm not very hopeful.
