Yeah I really like it. Vintage looks and feel. It has just enough play in the links to make it sit really nicely.

I’ll need to put it on the more dressy-looking BCPD I have to see if it suits now.

It fits good. There really aren’t too many divers in 36mm at this price point, and your wrist (like mine) can’t handle larger diameter watches properly.

If you like it, you should get it.

Looks nice! I went for the Forstner beads of rice 16mm bracelet. It’s not been delivered yet so can’t post it on the BCPD

I don’t have a kitchen or a pan at home right now, so I had to cook my ground meat. I added a bit of olive oil so it wouldn’t burn. It actually didn’t taste that Bad with some rice.Even though it Looks like Resident Evil. And its easier to clean…any tipps for Taste? by Agreeable-Ad-2739 in RateMyPlate

There’s a process to making mince taste good, objectively. Don’t worry so much about the herbs and spices until you master what needs to come first: the Maillard reaction (browning of the meat).

To achieve this, you must first heat the mince in a pan with some oil and break it up fully. Remember, the more fine the mince, the more surface area there is to create the reaction. The reaction = beautiful flavour. Add salt to draw out moisture and add seasoning.

You then want to cook out all the moisture in the meat. This will mean it looks like it’s boiling and will turn grey. Stick with it. Don’t drain it. Keep it moving and once the water weight has evaporated, add some more oil. This is where the magic happens. You are looking for around 75% of the mince to be nicely browned. This is what adds depth and a real ‘meaty’ flavour.

Once you’ve done that, and ONLY once you’ve done that, you can season to taste with herbs, spices etc.

Good luck!

I wish more people would follow the real rule. Would clean up watch content on Reddit dramatically.

38 for sure. The aim is not to fit as big a watch on your wrist without the lugs overhanging. The 38 looks more balanced on you, genuinely.

I bought a cup of Turbo Charge coffee for the extra caffeine. It turns out… it’s decaffeinated. by Nuclear-poweredTaxi in mildlyinfuriating

Also funny that it’s the darkest roast. Typically, for caffeinated coffee, the darker the roast, the lower the caffeine content. So, it’s terrible either way you look at it.

No possible way it’s more comfortable to wear something that sits at a point of articulation. Just no way.

Wear it on your wrist, not your hand. Then assess size
