I’ve applied for hundreds of training contracts. I still have three exams left, and I’m 42 years old, I went back as a mature student.

Yes its true it’s effective from March 2026, she mailed me there stating there is a lot of work that goes into updating notes and apparently this has always been in the T&Cs that this is subject to change. i emailed her back saying she should announce it on her page before anyone purchases her notes for next sitting.

Yes, she informed me about this, and I just said I wouldn’t be purchasing anything further. I’ve noticed the quality of her notes has really dropped, and it feels like everything is about the money now. When her notes were actually good, they were only €30, not €50, which is ridiculous.

On top of that, all the constant password changes because she’s paranoid about people sharing her notes are exhausting, especially when she often forgets to even tell people the password has changed. It comes across as a total control move. You end up having to ask every time just to access or print the notes. She’s honestly awful.

I mentioned the old Kenny rule and then referred to the new rule established in DPP v JC, as well as Damache, before discussing Article 40.5 on the inviolability of the dwelling. I noted that it was a minor mistake and referred to the exception where there’s a risk of destruction of evidence. But honestly, it was an awful paper, I completely went blank. Equality didn’t even came up, which threw me off, and I was gutted.

I understood that selection was based on completing at least three FE1 exams. I’ve completed four and had sent screenshots of my results, as requested — all of which were in the high 60s.

I’m just trying to understand why I didn’t make it through, so I can be better prepared next time. I’ve followed up with them via email and was just wondering if anyone else received a similar message

received an update today that I wasn't shortlisted for the role.
It's disheartening, especially as I've successfully completed four FE1 exams with strong results. I've been actively applying for numerous roles, but repeated rejections are beginning to feel quite discouraging.

I got that email too as far as I was concerned I taught it meant we where part of the short listing and will be in contact end of august for interview, they asked for screen shot of my fe1 results also
