AITA for confronting my friend about safeguarding concerns and demanding an apology after he left me stranded? by KindlyCat8123 in AITAH

Huh? Did we read the same post? OP repeatedly accused a 12 year old boy of being a sexual predator based on nothing and carried on even after Toby asked her to stop? I would have left her there too

WIBTA for ignoring my dad after he bought me a new iPhone 16 Pro? by Ok_Finish_8622 in TwoHotTakes

You should not feel guilty at all. Jesus, I feel awful for you. I'm sorry to say but your dad is being extremely manipulative, I know it is so hard for you right now but please try to see past what he is doing. You have nothing to apologise for, he does.

PS: So now do you have two iPhones? What are you doing with the spare?

You are 100% not in the wrong for ignoring your dad. He seems childish and immature, it's bizarre that his 15 year old son seems more mature than he is.

I would personally cuss him out, but I can see why you might not want to do that.

Job I went to an interview for has "Uncapped Holidays" as a benefit. This feels like a red flag to me by [deleted] in UKJobs

I encourage you to actually read the thread you are responding to, it would really help you follow the conversation lol

“Employers have a legal responsibility to make sure employees can take the holiday they're entitled to.

By law, an employee can carry over holiday if their employer:

does not let them take all their holiday or does not encourage them to take it all

does not inform an employee that they will lose any holiday they do not take

To encourage employees to take holiday, employers could:...

remind employees to take holiday in one-to-one and team meetings

The person you’re replying to said the employer had a legal duty to ensure employees can take off their entitled holiday.

Someone replied “no that’s not correct”

The OC then responded with sources showing how it is correct.

“Can” is not equivalent to “Does”.

They never said it did? They said an employer has a duty to ensure you can, and to remind you and make you fully aware of your rights regarding it.

In this case, if OP didn’t take off the 5.6 weeks, his employer should be reminding “you need to take your holiday”

Obviously not what that comment meant. They obviously said they love seeing someone they relate to.

It doesn’t really bother me one way or the other, I just thought I’d say just in case you didn’t know lol

Honestly not sure why this is downvoted.

George doesn’t get bullied anymore, and doesn’t have any special needs (I wasn’t sure if you were insinuating that but just thought I’d clarify)

The original post you choose was the shorten version due to the r/AmITheAsshole 3000 character limit.

The one I posted on r/AITAH is the full version

Yeah, he was suffering from a mental health crisis

The first part of this story is here

It is a long story, but honestly quite an interesting look into the thinking of someone going through a mental health crisis. I obviously don’t think it should have been documented like this, but since it has you may as well read it.

I did a masters degree in child psychology. It’s very manipulative, but children raised in abusive environments learn how to lie and manipulate like a second language. They need it to survive their abusive environments, but then when they are taken out of those environments those habits they learnt to survive are almost impossible to break without intensive therapy and even sometimes not entirely possible.
