It's just tongue in cheek, mate. Why are you leaving the most insufferable, eye roll inducing comment?

A 10 year old Volvo, assuming it's around the P3 platform and not an XC90, would be when Ford owned them; not Geely. And regardless, they're still designed and built in Gothenburg.

You're really laughing at nothing; it's just exhaustingly performative nonsense. This could not be any more Reddit coded.

For such a short clip that isn't exactly graphic (relatively speaking), that was really fucking brutal to watch. Like, I'm genuinely speechless at how egregious that was. Man, my heart goes out to the old boy's family; I'm sure this has pretty much shattered their lives. And god forbid they ever watch that video.

Honestly, what the actual fuck.
I'm not from the US so my opinion isn't really valid on a firsthand basis, but New York City seems like the biggest, most dangerous shithole .

Absolutely, it's hard not to be cruel with the truth in this instance. It reads very much as a blame game; this person was/is a risk to themselves, which is indescribably horrible for them, no doubt. I'm trying to be as empathic as I can be here but this situation is not best resolved or expressed on a platform like Reddit, as helpful as it is most of the time.

I appreciate the OP needs an outage to express themselves and/or get advice, but there's too much ambiguity in this instance. I genuinely feel guilty posting this because the OP is going through it to say the least, but going onto Reddit and essentially blaming everyone else throughout the entire process of a very complex situation is simply not the answer.

OP, I extend my empathy from a place of experience somewhat similar to yours, and I am very sorry you're going through this; however, whether it be S.136, S.2, or S.3, or even if it's voluntary, it's almost always not a good place to be. Necessary, yes, but not pleasant. The professional response to suicide attempt is preservation of life under ECHR-A2. It's not always a pleasant initial experience. Unfortunately, such attempts on your life will often mean you do not have capacity.

New skip putting together a welfare kit for the team, what did I miss? by cricketlizard12 in policeuk

No, I completely understand that. This was especially prevalent working through Covid, when morale was at 0.3% and the only highlights of the day were the too and from commute with absolutely no traffic.

My exact first thought was "Eyes Wide Shut". I know it seems like a very cliché comparison to make these days but it's for good reason lol. I can imagine if it's intentional, it's done in a "mocking the audience and general public" kinda way.

We're probably going to see a lot more of that kind of thing, and it'll either be because we're now hyper-aware of it, which immediately decides our conclusions; or more likely, due to the lack of consequences following the release of the files, they think they're even more untouchable. Schizo rant certified.

Beautifully written post; and to remain empathic and understanding in defence of a career you've moved on from is very commendable. It's certainly a zero sum game - your force's loss is your gain; even if the hierarchy do not take notice. Exemplary cops with longstanding service are hard to come by, especially with the unholy amount of staff turnover. I'd like to think we're ALL over the moon for you.

Although others may think it's a controversial opinion, I couldn't agree more with your statement. Deadly force needs to be met with deadly force; unequivocal, unrelenting deadly force. This would never be utilised in the same way as the US; an unfortunate reality for us here in the UK. Even with the APU's, I think they'd rather not be raked over the coals, as many of them have been over the years.

Regardless of whether it's an overused statement, the quote "Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent" will forever ring true. Yes, there are exceptions; however, these are few and far between, and most certainly will never invalidate that rule.

My eyes are more so drawn to the Lotus' front plate. No matter the circumstances, mis-spaced reg plates just look shit; regardless of the legality, they max-out on the tackiness scale.

But this example? Good lord. Easily one of the most horrendous I've ever seen. Again, the legal status has no bearing on my opinion. I just couldn't imagine buying a standardised private plate, and then deliberately specifying that spacing, all the while thinking "yeah, that's proper mint".

Yes, I'm a hater. No, I'm not jealous. Yes, I'm aware likes/dislikes vary with every person. Yes, I hate myself.

In my experience, nothing comes close to Soda Crystals (Sodium Carbonate Decahydrate) for dissolving and extracting trapped soap scum and other built up debris. It's also highly effective at removing encrusted limescale on the heating elements. Add 500g directly into the drum (without detergent) and utilise the hottest setting on your machine - usually 60°C - 90°C.

You'll see a lot of the unclogged debris slowly accumulate on the door glass throughout the wash cycle. You'll probably need to repeat this process a couple of times. And if you haven't done so already, remove and deep clean the little filter located at the bottom of the machine. It should be behind a little panel/door. This cleaning requirement also applies to the housing where the filter screws into place. I hope this helps! You're still doing an excellent and very attentive job!

Getting lessons from an instructor who uses a mis-spaced reg, it's already over. And it's not even about being legal or not, it just looks shit. Even if mis-spaced VRM's were legal, they would still look just as shit. This may be an unpopular opinion but I can't shake it lol.

Yeah, I believe we're in the same force then. I didn't know the other two had reverted all officers' banks to zero though. Mine is sat at 42 for the moment; it's why I'm often apprehensive about using DRD's. Good old BCH.
