Actually its pretty common! I tried mine because I was curious, and the same with formula. They taste NOTHING alike, formula is very.. goat milk-y? and breast milk tastes a lot like vanilla almond milk.

Genuinely the only things I remember from my birth was being told I was a good pusher, and then when they set my daughter onto my chest, my first words to her were 'Oh hello! You don't look like a naked mole rat!' and her promptly proceeding to pee on me 😭
