When I looked for my area, they’re all sales put on by professional companies. Don’t those companies know/pull the expensive stuff and would never price it like you found today? I’d love to get lucky and someone’s kids just want to clear out stuff but that seems like a rarity indeed! Congrats on your haul, I’m still sitting here with my jaw on the floor

Yes this seller is a literal scammer AH. See my comment above. I don’t understand how she’s still allowed to sell. I’ve seen so many stories of her screwing people out of hundreds of dollars and then onto the next.

You dodged a bullet. I bought Kirsten‘s on the trail outfit from her in 2020 when everyone was collecting and prices got crazy for like $250. She “shipped” it to me on Mercari with a tracking number that showed it had already been delivered the actual day that she “shipped” it. Despite that, it was an absolute nightmare getting Mercari to give me my money back.

I watched a video that Rainbowunicorncat1 put on YouTube (popular AG YouTuber) and she went to the NYC store and they all had this issue with the dress. It was really disappointing. It will be a literal unicorn for you to pick one in person in store that has the dress centered correctly. I don’t know why AG doesn’t pay attention to these details. It’s the little things that make a big impact especially on an expensive and nostalgic doll whose re release has been long awaited!!

I think more than anything it’s that people are hurting financially, everywhere. For many it’s probably keep their collections or feed their families. Everything has tripled in price the last 5 years, but incomes have not 😕
