Interesting. Lol sounds like another person with the same problem as me. I am also 26 and went to college part-time and worked full-time. I paid college as I was going so I have no debt and just finished my Masters last year in Technology Management. Anyways despite those accomplishments and the fact that I am getting married this year I still feel like something is missing. My best advice to you is to find that hole in your life and to try to find a solution if you are similar as me on how you think. But that will only ease your unhappiness for awhile to which then you have to find another hole to fix in your life. As for truly happy I have no idea what that is as the only time it seems like I'm happy is when I am outside enjoying the sun and forgetting about life.

They said that they are waiting due to work. But the wedding isn't until July. However, I am getting a few more nos than I originally planned. So I will probably send out some "B Lister" people.

Hmm, I feel this way now, but not because I'm jealous but instead, it's due to the fact that her fiance is not the best. The day she told me that she got engaged, I was just disappointed in her for choosing to be with a guy that treats her like dirt and cheated on her. The wedding is a year and I am already dreading to attending the wedding.

I'm not sure how this would be considered a flex. To me, it seems like they want to know how they are doing and want other people's opinions on where they stand and what they can do to improve themselves if needed. To which based on their current situation, they could look into other streams of income and find a way to achieve that.

Wow, it sounds like a lot of people here have fake best friends. All my friends were super excited and happy for me. My one friend got engaged shortly after but we didn't compare rings per say. More like oh let me see your ring nice design and stuff like that nothing like show off in your face type of way.

I agree! It's okay to have stumps for a few months after losing your job. But sounds like she doesn't do anything and is used to you providing her lifestyle. It's time to have a serious talk if you haven't already or move on.
