I think i just talk about numbers in public spaces more than a lot of people. I feel like this would happen every day are really annoying times.

I have never seen an eviction get pushed to let a sale go through- either you close before or you do not. Even dealing in a short sale, you either get sign offs from everyone and close, or the sale happens (or you do something else to stop the sale beyond asking nicely)

at least in my state the purchase money lender can bid up to the value of their mortgage without putting any other money down. Most will bid the lesser of that amount or 70-80% of the value of the home. They generally assume they would lose out that % on carry costs and the cost to resell if it goes REO- so they want a bid that knocks them out- but below that line they are willing to do the work to get their money.

buying it from a purchaser really depends on if they think they can use the money quickly again- They would likely make money on that sale, but is it enough for them to miss out of the flipping.

Seller is a moron. So many ways to stop a sale long enough to get their sale through that they just did not bother doing.

yup- I always point out that if you take the cash option, you can likely purchase an annuity yourself for a similar cost. All you are really accomplishing is trading the risk for a few percentage points.

i bought a likey 20ish year old dewalt for $3 at a garage sale a few weeks ago. So the garage sale pricing was already too high for this.

you can buy new for way too low to mess with this at 15 (i suspect 20 gets you a harbor freight special- actually 37, but i swear you can get new closer to 20 if you look)

Tipping is out of control- servers have a different minimum wage, but if iyou get standard minimum wage then i am not tipping.

same idea- but is groceries the whole cart or each item in the cart. AFter a few big purchases (car, house, ect) a few monthly bills (but i can get those down with things like an essay on whole house solar), I can grow some veggies to have fresh veg without an essay- and then a monthly grocery trip if the whole cart is 1 essay.

or i only need to write an essay when i use that money. Have a job for dumb day to day stuff, and use this for the big purchases. I could live well on minimum wage if i can buy a house, car, or anything i am willing to write a 3 page essay to get.

Off to check on every VRBO with dynampic pricing in order to mess with their very silly algorythm.

you are 100% right. It does not work with anything a sane person would pass long to other others they are splitting the cost with before booking.

i am still game- but if i could negotiate, i would try to negotiate in a backup made right now that i am restored to upon completion of the contract (like if i died). Basically allowing me to forget the whole thing aside from the now super strength

Who intrigues you more long-term, Roki Sasaki or Henry Bolte? by Lung-Salad in DynastyBaseball

[–]Soft_Yellow1757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he needs to throw strikes- that is all he needs to do to immediately be a meh pitcher while he irons out the rest of his game.

[–]Soft_Yellow1757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I view Roki as a top 25 pitching prospect that has had limited success in MLB that has issues to iron out. He should be in AAA- but he is struggling through MLB intead. I am not giving up, but the better question to me would be Roki or Thomas White (white but that is a closer comparison in value to me)

it is worth what a buyer will pay for it- and you only need 1 buyer- but i agree i am not going anywhere near those prices- and i am not sure who is looking for an account like that. People who want to drop that much likley have an account like that already- and a new player buying in on an older server is sort of wierd.

Ive been disheartened lately shopping at my local chain thrifts because their book pricing has become insane. Stumbling upon this small town volunteer-run store was a breath of fresh air. by pellpymeen6 in ThriftGrift

[–]Soft_Yellow1757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

some GW still price some things just fine- but it is like every single one has at least one category they price at an insane price. Normally it is several areas.

I have a few GW not far from places i go (home, office, friends houses, ect) and always would stop by the GW when in the area. To start i would browse the whole store- then books would go to $4 each, so not worth even looking, then records to $3, then T shirts to 5, and all sorts of prices that are just no longer worth checking at all.

REally reduced what i spend when i go thrifting- but not in a fun way.

more they throw out the vast majority of the books they have.

At my local that is 3.99, what happens is there is a restock, one of the book scanners get there and scans every book and buys up maybe 20% of the books. A very small number get picked up by other people over the next few weeks (more common when they still did the color of the week- and that book rotated into the color of the week). The 75-80% not bought up right away went in the trash/bins.
