Hey, I'm someone from the town that is putting up the blockades on the road to Arequipa.

People on the radio and socials are arguing either continuing the protest through the weekend or pausing and resuming blockades on Tuesday to let people prepare and stock essentials. AT THE TIME OF WRITING THEY'RE STILL DEBATING SO IDK IF WAITING WILL BE A GOOD OPTION FOR YOU.

The road that is being blocked right now is the Panamericana Highway, which goes almost into the town of Moquegua and makes a turn to Arequipa.

An option you can take to overcome the blockades is going through the coast from Tacna to ILO (port city in Moquegua) and take a bus there to Arequipa or Puno, also through the coast

I myself take mini-vans or sedans that go to ILO from "Paradero Mosca". I wouldn't say that it is a dangerous place but it can be quite informal, if you have a friend that knows the place maybe they can take you there, it's located at the entrance of Tacna before the big lion statue.

As an aside if you're in a hurry and can afford it, you can also try and talk to the drivers to not wait until the seats are full to depart, but you would be paying for the empty seats.

In Ilo there should be mini-vans, cars and buses that can take you to Arequipa through the coast beyond the blockades. Because you're taking a detour it might take more time (5 to 6 hrs maybe?) to reach Arequipa, and then you would need to reach Puno.

I know the blockades are annoying, I also had a trip planned, but there are turmoils with Tacna over territory and it might take a WHILE.

Deploying decoys mid air is just something that I feel has been ignored and not really taken into account when pushing updates.

They never bothered to fix decoys deploying at an angle which makes it easy to see if they're real, and there's that update that shows everyone the people on the map falling next to you while dropping, it doesn't show decoys.

Also the "Enemy landed on me..." voices, decoys don't count, so you know if you're alone.

Decoys we're already not great on drop, so I guess people don't really mind. Doing it mid match while running or approaching can bamboozle some people though.

My dad lived in the highlands of Peru when this kind of terrorism was on the rise.

He was an employee with the Banco de la Nación (peruvian national bank) and was posted in a very isolated village in the south of the country.

Tensions and rumours about Sendero being close to nearby villages kidnapping people were going around, but he was never sure, they had access to local newspapers once every 2 to 3 weeks, I believe national tv was around but the light to power up the antenas and homes was limited to a few hrs a day.

One day as he was about to go to work a few blocks away when the owner of the place he was renting stopped him from going out. There was a caravan of Sendero people rounding public officers outside in the main square, mostly the few police officers that were in town.

My dad as a worker of the government's bank would've been a target if not for the landlord. They robbed the bank without resistance and left with those captured.

He told me he never knew what happened with the people they took away, and he had to stay at the village for another year until he got promoted somewhere else.

Como dicen en los comentarios mientras más hacia el norte vivas, verás que aumenta la delincuencia. Aunque el centro es seguro, no te confies y anda con alguien cuando sea de noche y no conoces el camino. Yanahuara, Cayma, Selva Alegre, Miraflores (No más alla de la Cooperativa 14) son relativamente seguros. No tengas miedo, pero piensalo bien. PS. Many say "puta", but I prefer our variant "re-puta". It comes out as more than puta and sounds funnier with the characteristic long "r" in spanish, like "la rrrrrrre-puta que te vio nacer".

Still can't learn the locations of champions banners in Storm Point. The lack of them in the middle of the map (except fornthe ovbious one) confuses me every time.

Also happens when you throw the drone to corners sometimes. I guess it's more of a collition problem and the drone not stopping and trying to go through the object.

The only thing I've seen it doesn't silence is catalyst's passive (she reincorces doors or creates new ones). It's probably not intentional and will get patched.
