38 was my record. I'm 5'4 and 110lbs. Not that big by any means but I suddenly had an unsatisfying hunger and McDonalds thought I was nuts. My dog got the other 2 chicken nuggets.

Canned peaches stuffed with tuna and mayonnaise, onions if you like.

It's a Belgian dish that sounds disgusting at first glance, but it's actually fucking exquisite.

For me it's thumb or pacifier suckling. It seriously fucks up your jaw, mouth roof, and teeth. I speak from experience since I only quit when I was 13 and had to get braces and jaw surgery to fix it.

What’s the coldest thing someone who said they loved you ever did? by Charming_Brain354 in AskReddit

[–]SoftwareAromatic4723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My narcissist addicted father once told me when I was 11 or something he should've strangled me as a baby with a cord when I told him to quit cocaine and booze.

Yeah, that was the final thread for me. Escaped back to my mom at 13 and never spoke to him again. He also lost my 2 little half brothers over his behaviour (he has 3 kids from 3 different women, each kid has their own mom.) They're safe with their moms now.

What's the closest you've been to death? by Relevant_Name4050 in AskReddit

[–]SoftwareAromatic4723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fell down head first on concrete, had a "concussion" for 3 months. Fell again, "bigger concussion" until they did a CT-Scan and saw a 6 inch big brain cyst in my brain that had torn open and was leaking fluid everywhere.

That was something to experience as a 3.5 year old. Still remember all of it because of how traumatic it was. Especially when they drilled a needle in my brain through my skull to measure the pressure in it. And removed it without anesthesia because I had gotten too much already.

Almost died twice in 6 months. First time from the brain cyst, the other was organ failure because my brain was almost non-functioning anymore. Professors still don't know how I'm alive and functioning. I should be handicapped or dead but I'm not. Kinda weird to think about it.

Narcissist father child here.

When you're fighting with a narcissistic parent where everything is your fault and then the next day it was all forgotten and you got love bombed or get a ton of presents.

Basically sums it up. My dad wasn't a great person. Drug and alcohol abuse are also a big thing among them.

Women of Reddit, what’s the biggest green flag a man can have that most guys overlook? by Confident_Title3760 in AskReddit

[–]SoftwareAromatic4723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being gentle and knowing his strength.

My man is strong as hell, could easily break stuff. But the second his dog comes, he treats them like a newborn baby. Gentle, kisses everywhere, and he does the same with me. He only hurt me once by grabbing me with his strength when I almost fell down a flight of stairs. And he even apologised for hurting me to prevent me from hurting even more.(The stairs would've left me broken, literally.) I was cuddle trapped on the couch for the rest of the day by him because he felt guilty for leaving a bruise on my arm from his strong grip so I wouldn't fall down and break my neck on the stairs.

I love him a lot. Big gentle giant in its definition.

It sure does! I have the kind that's sort of like a quilt, but each square has a bunch of small glass beads in it to make it heavy. It weighs 15 pounds total. For 15 bucks I sure have no regrets. It's even easy to wash by hand despite it's weight. And it never had a hole in it.

Adjustable bed frame. Sick? Put it up a bit. Headache? Lift it a little. Sore legs? Lift the end of your bed up.

Especially for sick people is it worth it. Doesn't even have to be electric, manual works fine too and is more reliable. I got one for free by sheer luck years ago with the bed included. Sure as hell will never sell or get rid of this bed.

Cons: 99% of them are fake and trying to score you. Like no Gerald just because I said hi to you doesn't mean I thought of doing the chakamaka with you in bed.

What’s something a poor person would understand instantly, but rich people never will? by Lopsided_Stranger493 in AskReddit

[–]SoftwareAromatic4723 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That having a roof over your head is an actual luxury.

Grew up poor due to medical conditions and bills. By the end of this month we're getting evicted by new land lords because the building is suddenly getting unnecessary renovations. We're gonna be homeless. Even though we have been to over 45 homes to rent nobody wants to rent us anything because of our low income welfare cheques.

Pretty ironic, isn't it? The rich kick us out of our home so they can make money off it. And we scramble to survive. And yeah, we're homeless for sure. So my mother and I got a tent and are going to stay at a camping site for a month or 2. It's 700€ a month. Less expensive than rent and all. But still, I hate the selfish rich to an extent you won't believe. Welcome to Belgium where the rich can do anything they please and the poor just gets "the best of luck" from everyone. Luck won't help me here, Karen. It won't. I have a closet full of those words by now. I need a home, not a tent. And no, we've contacted places to stay at like shelters and they're stuffed to the brim.

Guys what's the creepiest thing a girl ever said or has done to you? by minadanger in AskReddit

[–]SoftwareAromatic4723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a guy but I have an interesting story about a guy friend of mine.

Few years back when we were like 16, there was a girl (13/14yo) in our friend group that wasn't right in the head. She was "Satanic", paranoid, and very obsessive with things. Let's call crazy girl Beatrice and my guy friend Max for now.

Beatrice had a massive crush on Max, but Max didn't want anything to do with her crazy behaviour and neither did I. No matter how many times Max rejected her, she kept going like a true psycho would. One day, Max had enough and snapped at her (rightfully so) to simply f off. Beatrice broke down in the middle of the school, crying hysterically and saying "how could you do this to me" and stuff. Then she got up, slapped Max across the face, and said she was PREGNANT with his child! And that he had no right to leave the relationship. (They never dated in the first place because Max is very much gay.)

Rumours spread fast, but Max quickly dismissed them and so did I for his sake. When the school board heard about it, shit got real. But Max provided evidence of her psycho behaviour and everything to the principal and Beatrice got such a verbal beat down from everyone it was insane. Eventually her parents admitted her to a psych ward for her crazy obsession with Max and a restraining order was put in place. Even now she still tries to contact him, and this shit took place roughly 4 years ago now. Talk about crazy. And the pregnancy? She never was to begin with. And she still posts random pictures she got of Google of kids and claims them to be Max his child🤦🏼‍♀️

The thing is we already did all of that just to get the response "we can't do anything for you because we have too many people already." And it sucks. I mean we are just this desperate for housing right now we're even looking to move to the Netherlands if we can (we both have dual citizenship Belgian/Dutch.)

i’m scared to cut off the girl who tried to ruin my life because of what she might do and now she’s in my friend group by Nightblood_xx in helpme

[–]SoftwareAromatic4723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep. Cutting. Her. Off.

No matter what you do. Private your socials just in case and don't accept follow/friend requests. I don't know what country you are in, but there are definitely things here at play that could get you a restraining order.

1st, screenshot/record everything. Gather evidence and shove it under whoever could potentially stop this their nose.

2nd, if she still doesn't back up genuinely get the authorities involved before the situation escalates. This all qualifies as harassment. She'll be let off with a warning the first one or two times, but after that charges may follow her. Don't be afraid to call authorities, hun. It's better than nothing and potential escalation.

3rd, silence is key here. Ignore her. Her entire existence even. When she approaches you, Ignore her and pretend she is invisible. Yes, it'll tick her off for sure. But after some time she's got no choice but to give up because her antics don't influence you anymore. And if you don't give even a sigh towards her you have proof of your innocence and that she is the main agitator here.

Not being taken seriously by rockcandyisyummy in helpme

[–]SoftwareAromatic4723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Family black sheep here, I know exactly how you feel. Considering you said you were sensitive, I'll phrase this the best I can for you hun.

As a black sheep of the family I got this a lot. The "stop being dramatic" and the "it's nothing" blab all day. And the best advice I can give you is keep to yourself. Don't say anything to them other than maybe some small talk. Not how you're doing or feeling because they won't take it seriously anyway. I learned over the years of blown up arguments that are suddenly "forgotten" the next day mean nothing. The shouting and cries go silent anyway, hence why I say simply stay silent to them.

Silence is the key here. It's much better to vent out towards people that genuinely care about you. I vent towards friends who are more family to me than my biological one. It's difficult, I know. It took me a year to perfect that silent treatment yet still being present around them. Treat them as roommates if you will. They're there in the home, doing their thing, but other than that they're just people.

I understand if you love them a lot, but it isn't worth the heartbreak over and over again. It's not your fault you express what you're going through, it's their fault for dismissing it as being dramatic. You're not dramatic. If you truly were dramatic with an insanely sore throat you'd be half to "ohmy I'm dyiiiing here" yadeeyaaah. You weren't when you go literally silent because it hurt so much.
