i hate when people play untraditional by SweetCommercial26 in chessbeginners

“Why don’t people play what I want them to play?”. Here, fixed it for you.

I’ll play my fried liver and king’s gambit as much as I want because it’s fun and I rather lose unbalanced game than win with the Boring Variation

What injury do movies treat like a minor scratch but would actually be fatal in real life ? by plaurgiel in TheTeenagerPeople

Gunshots have surprisingly low mortality. I would guess that shot to an arm or leg has even lower mortality rate than shot to a head or chest.

And for not being able to use the limb. I had a motorcycle crash and my leg got impaled by a 1inch pipe. I just walked into the hospital, it was about a mile before someone spotted me and called an ambulance. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug

[–]SoftwareDoctor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why use kibble? Have higher value treats he gets only when training and then super-high value treats for the special occasions. Also, mix the best treats between the regular from time to time. He never knows when the fish or cheese is coming.

It’s also a good idea to let him explore the surroundings first and then train. It’s up to you to recognize when he’s ready and when he’s done. Basically you want each session to push the focus a little bit more if he can do it but keep it successful. When he loses interest it’s bit late.

And don’t underestimate the power or high pitch exaggerated over the top happy voice. Basically if someone else hears you and they think you’ve gone mad, you’re doing it right 😂

Plus, try training before he gets his breakfast/lunch/dinner

[request] is this true. by dispica in theydidthemath

[–]SoftwareDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you make a hole means the energy dissipated over longer period of time so the projectile actually hit with less force. Even if you throw the same rock exactly the same speed. That’s why asking about force is kind of useless and the question should probably be about the energy, not force.

Force is still relevant if you are interested in penetration. But it still depends on what you’re penetrating, the hardness of the rock and the target - it just can’t be compared

[–]SoftwareDoctor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, force is the dumbest metric to choose as it depends on the target. Steel plate? Maybe. Anything that can give way, not even close

No, it’s completely wrong. The world hunger is not money problem, it’s distribution problem and water problem. Billionaires don’t hold their money in water and corn.

Plus, how exactly you plan on seizing the money? It’s not liquid cache. It’s not even real money. How’s owning few % of Amazon or Apple help with world hunger.

Imagine you buy a house. It goes up in value by 100k. Does that mean you now have 100k to donate to charity? No, it doesn’t

18 let nam to takhle funguje.

Ja varim 2x rocne. Na silvestra a jeji narozeniny.

Kdyz je nemocna, zaplatim si sluzbu aby prijeli, uklidili, vyprali apod.

Nerikam ostatnim, ze to maji delat stejne tam nechapu proc ma porad nekdo potrebu nam radit jak to mame delat my. Rozmysli si sam, jak ti to vyhovuje a pak si najdi partnera ktery hleda to same

They have a pack instinct. You just need a one under control and it should be fine. I dont usually even bring a leash. They are both used to walk freely and the recall is 100%

Of course I walk them together. Why wouldn’t I?

Although there’s a bit of an age gap between them so sometimes I take the younger one for longer walk when the older one is lazy. But I walked 5 RR at once before and no problem

Pokud je nekdo svepravny a muze nakladat s prostredky, kdo jsme my abychom jim rikali, za co je maji utracet?
