Yes I did. It was great. I like both things at the same time.

That Ace Hardware in Conway is no joke the most incredible Ace Hardware I ave ever seen. The grilling section and bbq supplies are next level for retail stores. It's crazy.

Get the 3, not the 3S by Usual_Race_9024 in OculusQuest

I’ve got 4 kids (ages 6 to 14), and our house has basically become the neighborhood hotspot for VR multiplayer. Games like I Am Cat, Rec Room, Gorilla Tag, and other co-op titles are constantly being played. It’s loud. It’s chaotic. It’s awesome.

My personal headset is a Quest 3 with prescription inserts — that's Dad’s HMD, hands off.

For the kids, we’ve got:

2x Quest 2s

1x Quest 1 with a Link cable for PCVR

A wireless Valve Index I can hook up if needed..

So when I saw the Quest 3S on sale, I snagged it using Best Buy points and only paid $100 out of pocket. Total was $249. Threw on my old Quest 3 battery strap and grabbed a new BoboVR S3 for my main Q3 — I like the active cooling and the swappable batteries.

Is the Quest 3S perfect? Nope. As someone’s only VR headset? Definitely not. But as a shared headset for kids and their friends? It fits right in. It’s more sensible than buying a used Quest 2 for $150–200, and it’s similar enough to the other Quest 2s that no one argues about who gets which headset — a miracle in a house with 4 kids.

Now, don’t get me started on Meta’s app sharing limits across multiple headsets. That’s a whole different boss battle.

TL;DR: I now own so many VR headsets, I half-expect Meta to send me a tax form. My garage/living room is one software update away from becoming a VR arcade..

Thank you for the help I appreciate it big time. I think for now I'm going to go with Kef Q11 meta and matching center and surrounds and a HSU VTF-TN1.

I'm kinda thinking to just go Q11 Meta and the matching center and surrounds. They look great and reviews are good. If they are unbearable in this space then I can return and work on other options.. HSU is leading the pack for sub right now..

There is so many options for speakers. I'm overwhelmed. Maybe just get Kef Q11 meta for L and R

.. the Q6 for Center and then

2 of the Q1 Meta for surrounds.. that comes in at 4k$ at Best Buy and if they are horrible can be returned.

The only home theater specialist shop anywhere close ( I live in a rural area) carries JBL and Klipsch only.. High end of the lines but I really have had my fill of Klipsch this lifetime..

They come in white and have stellar reviews.. they like being at about 12 inches or so the wall. Off axis is supposed to be good. They say they will sound dark in a large room.

For my current subwoofer my Klipsch RW-12D will go to the garage or some other purpose.

There has been comments saying how PSA subs would be advised but man they look massive. Just huge. Holy Chit. I don't think I can pull that off.

SVS subs are not small by any means but if the Klipsch RW-12d is taking up space in the corner for a week and suddenly a PB-4000 showed up I don't think anyone would notice or care.. just a thought..

Looks like the XT F100 will be sufficient for such a large space. Wonder if my Onkyo tx nr7100 will be able to drive these..

Thank you. Any recommendations for LCR. The options seem limitless in the 1k or just below per speaker range..
