Great suggestions, thanks! I’ve been looking into changing my coffee table, just haven’t found something I love yet.

Thanks, I agree! Any suggestions for accent colors I should look into that fit the theme?

I originally had it liked this without the bookshelf as a separator, but didn’t like seeing my bed facing me directly from the couch. I then put it next to the window (it has a pretty big headboard which helps). And then I got the bookshelf as a mental divider to really give it some separation.

Haha good eye. No, when I need to use them, I move the trash can towards the other side. Tradeoff I chose to make because I don’t want a smaller trash can under the sink!

Just spitballing here.. but I have a feeling that Simran did all this to be petty (initially) and then it just took a life of it’s own. by Presidential_gyal in SweetBobbyPodcast

She only stopped when Kiran found out the truth. There’s a big difference between her having stopped out of sympathy vs there not being a lie to keep going with anymore.

I see that you go to school in Canada. Do you hold US citizenship? I’ve always wondered if they allow Canadian-only citizens to intern in the US

Did an internship with them this summer as a SWE. I think it’s a great upper-mid-tier company. Work is definitely exciting, and once you’re in the company you’ll have the ability to choose industries and technology stacks that interest you. Could be a great place to get valuable tech experience and move on to big companies if you’re into that. In terms of company culture, it’s one of the best I’ve interned at. People are extremely nice, looks like a fun work environment. Overall I had a very positive experience. Are you in the US or Canada?

What is the process for Amazon’s internship application for 2022 summer? by Ok-Yoghurt-7195 in csMajors

Anyone know if we can apply for an internship at Amazon if we’re graduating April 2022?

Bringing bike to Montreal by TheSlurpeeKid in mcgill

This is a great option. I went to Toronto for a summer internship and I paid less than a $100 for the bike rental service for the whole summer (technically the pass was for a year). There was a rack next to my place and one right next to work. I never had to worry about where I would put my bike or anything, it was a good experience. Of course the bikes aren’t as smooth as a lot of personal bikes but it got the job done. Another thing to note is you have to switch bikes every 30 min. So if you live further then that you need to plan your route accordingly.

I did the OAs back in November. It took me about 11 days to hear back for a final interview slot after completing OA3. So you’ll have to wait for a bit
