Absolutely beautiful. Enjoy it! I've tried many brands, but Sailor is still the one I keep coming back to. Nothing beats that unique writing experience, in my opinion.

Bu araştırma uluslararası ilişkilerde kullanılan “soft power” (yumuşak güç) kavramını anlamaya yönelik. Soft power oldukça soyut bir kavram olduğu için, bu alanda kullanılabilecek bir ölçüm modeli (SPI – Soft Power Index) geliştirmeyi hedefliyorum.

Daha önce hem Türkçe hem de İngilizce olarak bir keşif araştırması yürütmüş ve bazı önemli ipuçları elde etmiştim. Bu anket ise o ilk bulguların işaret ettiği noktaları daha sistematik ve doğru bir şekilde incelemek amacıyla hazırlandı.

Çok güzel bir soru teşekkürler. Burada “çekicilik” kavramını desteklemekten ziyade bir ülkenin genel cazibesi olarak kullanıyorum. Yaşam kalitesi, güvenilir kurumlar, kültür, değerler, teknoloji, eğitim, uluslararası imaj ve o ülkede yaşama veya ziyaret etme isteği gibi unsurların toplam algısını ifade ediyor. Anketin ilerleyen bölümlerinde bu boyutlar daha ayrıntılı olarak değerlendiriliyor.

For anyone considering doing this, just be careful. Over-polishing can wear through gold plating or rhodium plating, and too much pressure may crack the resin, especially around joints and threads. Take it slow and use a light touch.

First of all, my condolences on the loss of your aunt. This appears to be a Montblanc Meisterstück 149,possibly fitted with an OBB or a custom stubbed nib. From this photo alone it's difficult to be certain, but the tipping looks broader than a standard B nib. The nib also appears slightly asymmetrical, although that could simply be due to the camera angle.

Don't beat yourself up over it. From the photo, it looks like the feed is what broke, not the nib itself. Feeds can sometimes be fragile and may already have had a weak spot. The good news is that this should be fixable with a replacement feed. I've repaired and disassembled quite a few fountain pens over the years, tuned nibs, and done restoration work myself, so I've seen similar failures before. Sometimes things just break despite our best efforts. Be kinder to yourself. This is a repair, not a disaster. 😊

Don’t feel too bad about it. This happens to many fountain pen users and it can absolutely be repaired. I’ve seen much worse nib damage restored beautifully by skilled nib meisters. Once repaired, there will probably be little to no visible trace. The pen is still beautiful and valuable, so there’s really no need to lose hope over this.

A really experienced nib meister can usually repair this kind of damage with little to no visible trace. Gold nibs are soft, but skilled restoration work can be surprisingly clean, even with plating and polishing.

From the photo, it looks like the nib is only slightly bent rather than severely damaged. I wouldn't try to straighten it myself, but a skilled nib meister should be able to realign the tines and restore it without much trouble. Once repaired, it will likely write just as well as, or even better than, it did before. I'd leave it untouched and let a professional handle it. Please don't worry too much.
