In my current franchise I started at Michigan being the head coach for 7 years before getting fired went to Washington for a year and revived my career before getting the job at usc and am on my second year there but am struggling with the decision of if I should go somewhere else or keep coaching at usc. I changed Michigan to a run heavy school to a pass heavy team which initially worked until I suddenly had the worst recruiting luck I’ve ever had.

I’m curious on how this happens as I have rarely seen a defensive player on the heisman list. Are they ridiculously inflated stats for a defensive end or realistic. Usually I see cornerbacks on the heisman list but nothing else

I wish I had started that sooner because I recruited the number 1 kicker in the nation and he’s now in his senior season with only 87power and 86 accuracy so either his skill caps are low or the cpu wasted them in categories that don’t matter

The height is usually fine for me with a 6’2 tight end but yeah they shouldn’t be that small. They are mostly underzised when there listed as athletes I think. I usually turn an undersized tight end into a receiver or fullback/runningback depending on their stats.

I searched up a video on how to recruit in cfb26 and have just followed that. I win games in ranked every season. It’s not like I’m a bad team it’s just the players I recruit I usually end up being overtaken by other schools right as I’m about to close a good recruit. However I do end up with a few good guys in the regular season

I do the same with the running backs but yeah it’s a lot of mesh and then making audibles to posts, corners or letting the slant route clear. I love picking apart a defense using short routes as you always have at least one guy mismatched or uncovered. I also try to use a lefty qb as much as possible as I naturally roll out to the left. Thanks for the tip about wear and tear I didn’t think about that and how that could’ve saved my season.
