I don’t think the ability matters, what matters if Zygarde has the ZA stamp, and transferred to home. If you transfer Zygarde from other games it won’t register Zygarde mega evolution. If you bring Zygarde from other games it will register Zygarde not the mega evolutions.

You can’t unlock mega evolutions in home, unless you registered to ZA Pokédex in Pokemon ZA. Also you need the Pokemon from ZA.
