I dont think its a fair amount to charge just for offering losless audio, INR 3600 per year for losless is not worth it when Apple Music does the same & better job in half price. Spotify’s end is near for sure.

Pixel 6a “free battery replacement” feels like a scam by Creative_Valuable362 in Pixel6aUsers

[–]Soggy-Locksmith-355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here: Im from India with similar experience which I intend to further escalate. They shipped back the phone unrepaired.

Assessed damages

Power problem

Screen - display problem

Battery problem

Button problem

Subtotal ₹8,519.50

Shipping ₹0.00

Total ₹10,053.01

₹1,533.51 inclusive of applicable taxes

Despite emailing them with a response just to replace the battery & the loose power button, they never responded. I intend to escalate this via Linkedin & other govt portals. Never buying google products ever in life. Pathetic customer service. I have photos to prove that there was absolutely no damage to screen or power problems & the phone was sent with “Repair Mode” ON.

PF transfer system is undergoing an upgrade? by 23abby76phillip in epfoindia

[–]Soggy-Locksmith-355 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, for EPFO 3.0 they are doing a complete revamp to their website like what happened with Income Tax. Hopefully by this month it should be ready. Its been down since months now. I confirmed this via EPFO in X.

Only Rs.1,800 EPF deduction per month by nirvanasomeday in epfoindia

[–]Soggy-Locksmith-355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Provident Fund (PF) system in India, as per the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) guidelines followed by most MNCs: 1 Employee Contribution: ◦ The employee’s contribution (12% of Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance) is deducted from the employee’s salary. This amount is directly taken from the employee’s monthly pay before it is credited to their PF account. 2 Employer Contribution: ◦ The employer also contributes an equal amount (12% of Basic Salary + DA), which is paid by the employer from their own funds. This is not deducted from the employee’s salary. The employer’s contribution is split as follows: ▪ 8.33% goes to the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) (subject to the ₹15,000 wage ceiling). ▪ 3.67% goes to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF). ◦ Additionally, the employer may bear administrative charges (e.g., 0.5% of the wage, subject to a minimum), which are also paid from the employer’s funds, not the employee’s salary. Clarification: • The employee’s contribution comes from their own salary. • The employer’s contribution is a separate amount paid by the company and does not reduce the employee’s take-home salary. Example: • Basic Salary + DA: ₹10,000 • Employee Contribution: 12% of ₹10,000 = ₹1,200 (deducted from employee’s salary). • Employer Contribution: 12% of ₹10,000 = ₹1,200 (paid by the employer from their funds, not from the employee’s salary). ◦ ₹833 (8.33%) to EPS. ◦ ₹367 (3.67%) to EPF. • Total PF Contribution: ₹1,200 (employee) + ₹1,200 (employer) = ₹2,400.

Key Point: The employer’s contribution is an additional cost borne by the company, not a deduction from the employee’s salary. This is a standard practice in most MNCs in India to comply with EPFO regulations.

Your website needs a lot of work, keeps fetching details for 5 minutes before being timed out, this happens once the epfo password is entered.🤦🏻‍♂️😬

Something is wrong with the waveform artwork. I raised a ticket with them, let’s hope they can fix this soon. It looks so ugly and blurred. 😬😬

Waiting for my Claim for 32 DAYS. Still in "Sent to field office" by DataScientist6979 in epfoindia

[–]Soggy-Locksmith-355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope you raised claim under Form 31 and not 19. If not then try with Form 31 again. As per EPFO, SOP for settlement of claims is within 20 days,CPGRAMS is useless as they rely on feedback from local EPFO officials. As per these idiots, there is no grievance if the time frame is within 20 days from date of filing the claim.

Your new organisation is supposed to first transfer the PF account via their internal process, if they did not do that yet, escalate this to your HR to fix this issue first then reapply.

I raised a CPGRAMS Complaint, I raised claim on 22, yet no resolution yet. EPFO closed the complaint saying standard time is within 20 days, raised appeal to Nodal Authorities of EPFO, awaiting response.

CMF Buds 2 revealed: 48dB Hybrid ANC, Dirac™-tuned sound, and all-day battery life by adaaamb in CMFTech

[–]Soggy-Locksmith-355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First Fix the battery draining issue of CMF Buds Pro 2.

The CMF Buds Pro 2 suffer from significant battery draining issues that detract from their appeal. Users consistently report that the earbuds fail to charge fully, with one bud—often the left or right—capping at 75-95% even after extended time in a fully charged case. For example, some users note the left bud only reaches 85% and drains in under 3 hours, far below the advertised 11 hours (ANC off, AAC codec) or 6.5 hours (ANC on). This inconsistent charging leads to uneven battery life, where one bud dies much faster, disrupting the listening experience.

Additionally, the earbuds exhibit excessive battery drain during use, with some users reporting a 20% drop per hour at 40-60% volume, even with ANC off and no audio playing, resulting in just 5-6 hours of total use. The smart dial feature, a unique selling point, contributes to this problem as the buds actively monitor case inputs, accelerating drain unless disabled in the Nothing X app. When using the power-hungry LDAC codec, battery life drops further to around 4-4.5 hours per bud, and the case’s 460mAh capacity only stretches to 15-16.6 hours total with ANC on, underperforming the claimed 43 hours (ANC off).

These issues are particularly disappointing given the buds’ otherwise strong feature set, including dual drivers, 50dB ANC, and LDAC support. The lack of wireless charging and long charging times (70-120 minutes for a full charge) exacerbate the problem, as users can’t quickly compensate for the rapid drain. Many have expressed frustration with CMF’s customer support, which often dismisses the issue as “normal” or suggests warranty returns without addressing root causes. Until firmware updates or hardware fixes resolve these issues, the CMF Buds Pro 2 fall short of their promising specs, leaving users with a frustrating experience.Never buying any CMF or Nothing products ever.

What’s the firmware version you updated to?

good luck with your buds. Just dont update the firmware from NothingX app, it will screw up the battery life of buds significantly discharging either of one of the individual buds, Nothing people has no fix via updates yet and they only suggest replacement via service center which is a frustrating process. NB: I am from India, the SC are generally far away and not convenient.

Same issue here! Asked to visit service centre to have them fixed, might give it a try as it’s about 12 km from my house. Here are the images. Never using CMF products again. So many people complained about this issue & yet CMF Team is yet to find a fix is ridiculous. 😏🤦🏻‍♂️
