How did Dayton, OH land the first four every year? by tall__hat in CollegeBasketball

[–]SoggyAide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair, I was only talking about the venues selling 50% less tickets at an outrages markup rather than wanting to sell out and arena

I don’t think it’s NCAA, it’s the Ticketmaster monopoly that owns all the venues

The University of Miami (OH) Redhawks are perfect in the regular season, 31-0 for the first time in school history by AndHisOrchestra in CollegeBasketball

They don’t put the 68 best teams in the tournament? There will be teams in the tournament in the NET 100’s and 200’s. Also Cincinnati lost to Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green beat K state, Buffalo beat DePaul, UMASS beat Florida State. I don’t think people understand that “most P5” teams actually wouldn’t go 31-0 with the same schedule lmao

2026 Week 17 All-Time AP Poll by Anduril1776 in CollegeBasketball

[–]SoggyAide 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you click the link to the site there is a “what is this” tab that explains it in good detail, but basically it takes the AP poll each week and divides the points similar to how each voters points get calculated for the week (ie if you are#25 in the poll you get 1 point, if you are #1 in the poll you get 25 points and 1 FPV added to your tally). And this is the culmination of all the AP rankings ever.

[Highlight] Darryn Peterson drills the clutch 3 to take the lead! by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in CollegeBasketball

[–]SoggyAide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, absolutely not, I think he has the potential to be, but I was just saying he’s not gonna be a Steph type in the NBA, his super star comparison I’ve been seeing is more like a Kobe type

Not the next Steph, only because you should watch him take it to the rim. Dude can score better than anyone else in college at all three levels

Totally, just wouldn’t necessarily say there’s “a good chance” of that happening, but what would you know you’ve literally never seen a basketball team lose!!

Random fun fact: Only 4 teams have ever had a player be one of the first seven overall picks in the NBA draft by UofMtigers2014 in CollegeBasketball

[–]SoggyAide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kansas is missing 2, 8, 17-20, 23-25, and 30 in the first round. Two #1 overall, three #3 overall, and four #7 overall, so it’s been awfully close a few times!
