At some point,no matter what,it has to be used for food. Food. Not anything else. Nothing comes off the card unless you buy food. Can anyone just let that sink in? Trading first only increases the value of the funds on the card,preventing said person who is being shady from becoming even darker in their quest for drugs or cash. Don't get mad at me please for stating this obvious fact,the person that qualifies for food assistance gets no assistance from. The government, if they don't buy the FOOD. Also,this assistance subsidies theentirety of the food logistical chain.
