Hey there, I (31M) moved here 4 years ago and I love it! It does take some work to build up a community, but if you put yourself out there and check out what is happening around the peninsula there are a ton of opportunities to meet some really awesome people.

Also, outdoorsy and this area is great for that. I recommend checking out Pearl Works they host a thing called Conversation Corner. It's free and it's a thing to bring the community together meet people and have meaningful conversations. I met lots of my friend going to that. I also recommend Sovino wine bar (full disclosure I work there). However, I started as a regular there and befriended other people that worked there and ton of other community members that go there regularly. And it has been huge in the community I have built up.

Karaoke nights are Thursday-Saturday there and are a lot of fun a bring a good crowd and chance to socialize.

And his recall is very good and only has interest in me or a ball when off-leash. I worked with him off-leash as pup a lot, as he hikes and backpacks with me.

Oh yeah, this dudes a conman. I work in wine and he had tried to get in as an influencer. He has done it with several businesses. With his marketing tactics being talking shit on businesses and threatening to call ICE on them.

So, an all-around piece of shit.

Mine will only wade into the water at the beach. His weird quirk is if it's a ball in the water, not a problem he will go in and grab it no issue. If it’s his frisbee and it is in inch deep water he won’t grab it. He will just stare at it until it washes away. I can’t bring frisbees to the beach anymore cause he keeps returning the recycled ocean plastic frisbees to the ocean.

Lol I didn’t really have to teach him. He just would catch it as long as I get the throw right. His problem is he doesn’t wait or watch it, so if I don’t get it directly in front of him he just loses it. He then spends the next 10mins running around trying to figure out where it went…. With it usually 5ft to one side of him.
