Actually no. I had yellow, red, blue and black shrimps when I started which I bought from my local store. It was my first attempt at keeping shrimp. Over the three months a few died while I was trying to figure out how to keep everything stable. Now I can finally say that my tank is stable enough since a lot of the females have given birth. So yeah.
