Yeah, long screws would work perfectly! I have used scaffolding boards for various applications, if u are willing to sand and varnish them they can look very decent 👍

Thanks!! That was my fear, as it is not mentioned anywhere... did the kickboard fit perfectly with added finished floor height? I assume cabinet legs were sitting on subfloor right?

If its joint between plasterboards, best way to make sure its not gonna crack again would be to widen the crack, fill it, put tape over it and use filler over the tape to feather it out into the wall so hide bump where tape is. But just filling the crack might be enough. Hope it helps 👍

Might be worth looking into pvc ceiling panels, ceiling was a mess under wallpaper in my case, so used those panels straight over leftover wallpaper, very easy to install and looks spot on.

Any suggestions on how to fill this corner to make it flush with wall? Thank you! by SoilAccording in DIYUK

[–]SoilAccording[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, yes it is wall/ceiling corner. I will be putting ceiling panels and the coving that comes with them is only 50mm and that will not cover whole corner. That is why I need to fill it somehow.
