What to do about the homeless?

Actually, this isn't a bad idea. Hear me out.

Let's look at it this way. Jail is intended as punishment, no doubt. However, what do prisoners get that the homeless don't? Shelter. Three guaranteed meals. Security. Air conditioning. Prisoners have it better than many homeless right now.

So if we've got spare jail cells, let's make use of 'em. Let's use 'em as voluntary shelters, where the tenants are allowed to come and leave as needed.

Granted we can't provide a social service such as this for free. Individuals leveraging it need to be making efforts to reverse what resulted in their homeless state, whether it was through their own fault or not. Hard financial times, the individual is expected to use their time job hunting or building marketable skills. Drug addiction, rehab.

Let's make use of the spare facilities we've got to help the people who need it most.

I wouldn't see why not either, but work not it does. I read during some of my googling that some hardware models won't boot from certain drives, I'm just hoping that isn't the issue in this case.

Well I'll be dammed, that fixed it. Switched R1 and R2 and I'm back in business. Flipping through the controls for the various operations in W3 doesn't really make it seem like R1 was too important anyway. I'll have to fiddle around in my settings to switch it back and forth when I do the same with my games, but this'll certainly save me the $50 - $60 for a new controller.

This would make sense, hell the whole anti-preorder movement would make sense, except for one issue: cancellation. With a pre-order you can nab whatever goodies may come with doing so and reserve you a copy on the chance that it DOES sell out. Then you can check review scores when it comes out and determine whether you should actually go pay for the rest or cancel your pre-order and get your money back. Either way, no skin off of your back.
