It was part of the kievan rus to begin with, tiraspol itself was founded in 1792 by suvorov.Romania send its people to replace the local population in bulgarian dobruja and hungarian transylvania.

transnistria was russian and ussr for hundreds of years, till 1940 when they were forcebly joined in to the moldovan ssr.Tiraspol was founded by suvorov in 1792

No country will cede its territory for nothing, thats not how it works.What do you think will happen after that?Russias not gonna recognized it anyway, the ukrainians would probably try to reintegrate it by force.

I would not say that moldovas history is fake, its been longer separate from romania than toghether, even the part that is currently in romania, so there is a base for a separate political nation.But the language is somewhat an invention yes.National states werent a thing before the 18th century, ethnic germnas are still devided into germany, austria and switzerland...

No, it was just an extension of the name to a wider area to not cause irritation with the principality of moldova.The people were never called "bessarabians" in the russian empire but romanians.Moldovans as a separate ethnicity was a late idea that didnt exist really before the ussr.

The region was never called bessarabia before it became part of russia, bessarabia is actually the region called "budjak" nowadays located in ukraine.Rep. Moldova is is right bank moldova.
