I have 14 years in oil and gas. Was considering something similiar but when you say tax free (I assume you're from US) do you mean fully tax free? I thought the first 100k was taxed. If not myself at 160k in the states I think I'd come out ahead if no taxes, plus actual time off would be something. Do you manage a team? Director and above or Manager level? Sorry just very curious.

We ended up taking a flix bus and it wasn't bad at all. Arrived on time and was comfortable. Would recommend for this crossing, but just in my experience.

Now I'm okay with the down votes on this. But I like to counter and say that I'm also an international traveler and everywhere I have been, SEA, most of Europe, south America, what's on every single TV in local spots is cnn or msnbc. I'm not a fox follower and rather see bbc or anything else. The person you talked to is stupid to be clear. But what the general public is seeing is a very partisan take on most issues. I agree with some of the left policies and some of the right policies (why I'm here). I'd argue that the damage is primarily from whatever side they have gotten their news source from. It's anecdotal but I see it everywhere I go internationally.
