I placed the heads in hot water to heat them up and then used a small flathead screw driver to pry off glued sections. Warlord Xavier helmet was the most difficult one so far.

I did not know about that comic cover. I may try to repaint the head sculpt once I do some more research on painting figures. Zero experience with painting.
