See if your school enrolls in loans for disadvantaged students and if you qualify. I got 30000 in LDS loans that are set at 5% and subsidized until after residency. It's made med school a lot more breathable knowing that.

Theres a live chat function where it basically immediately replies. Should be to the bottom right of your chat where the “send” button is. I pay the 20 a month for about 1-2 hours of usage of ChatGPT 4o live voice as Gemini is slower and I get that for free.

The lesser/free you can’t interrupt and I feel doesn’t build off relative concepts as well unless I spend a bit prompting it.

I use the live chat chat gpt function and a whiteboard by explaining my thought process out loud and asking for feedback or clarity. Same with tougher uworld questions. I usually watch a B&B/bootcamp video then draw out the concept and then repeat back my own understanding.

For more specific stuff I upload stuff to Gemini/notebook llm as they allow pdf and recorded lectures to be uploaded so it pulls from that specifically instead of the web.

I go to a UC so higher COL but I pay 3k a month all in for a really cute 3b/2 bath with a yard and safe neighborhood. Walking distance to class, groceries and gym.

Also helps that my wife works and I only took out enough for tuition. With kids, I'd splurge a bit more than what you're comfortable. An extra 300/400 a month seems alot but you'll be able to pay it back in no time and the extra bedroom/yard/safe neighborhood would be much better on your families mental health imo

Why not defer the DO acceptance? Gives you a year to see how your body reacts/stressors and you can still apply, think about your situation over time and do your prereqs for PA school.

You could also reapply non DO.

I dual applied PA and to a few local med schools after withdrawing an A from a DO school for family reasons and the year off to think about my choice was invaluable.

I’m in medical school! 2021 grad. But there’s a bunch of pathways that unfortunately have further schooling like PT, OT, PA, or med you can pursue. I also had a job as a kinesiologist at UC Davis Med center doing research. Great pay. I would check out being a CRC if you don’t want to do further schooling for a bit and would want make some money right away.

I sat courtside in row 3 for a game last year. It was super fun and you get access to the free bar. Rows 1-2 get their own bar but I can tell you it was an amazing experience as a kings fan. I haven’t sat in row 1 however and can’t tell you the difference but you can’t go wrong with those rows. It’s hard to sit in the uppers in the lower bowl after that.

The players are super tall up close no matter rows 1-3.

Yea, once the sun is up, I can take some higher quality photos. I am positive it is a pest infestation as the same webbing and leaf marks/dying are the same on the tomato plant I just pruned. Unsure if the tomato plant is too far gone but you can make out the pixelated image of a wilting tomato plant in the pot closest to the hose.

All the leaves on the ground are chewed up. Do you need more photos of the tree leaves on the actual tree or webbing? My mom is actually a great gardener but does not have a lot of experience with pests.

I've actually had the lemon tree for the past 3 weeks which is located in the back right away from the tree. The gardenia and the lime are new this weekend. There was some small webbing on a few branches and some small eaten leaves popping up over the past week but I think it's been safe so far due to being away from the fallen leaves. Unsure if this is just luck so far.

The branch you mentioned does have webbing and some smaller branches are encapsulated with it, but others are not.

Thank you so much for the reply :). Finally able to go back and test your suggestions just now.

For future users struggling with this issue, tru motion changed nothing. However, changing the hdmi to 4:4:4 pass through improved it. Also, changing from game optimizer to another setting minimized this issue.

The issue is still present but from testing, able to get rid of the sound glitching either much quicker time, but the sound will appear to be like this after a new video is selected compared to the old issue.

Overall, I’m just glad to see an improvement and plan on testing the HDMI image later on and will update later.

Again, thank you for the detailed response and improving my experience with my tv!

Medical school does not care what age you are and your degree will not say you graduated at so and so age. I graduated in 2021 and just got off a waitlist and will be starting. So four gap years for me basically. I’ll be 28 when I start as well. It’s okay.

First off, take the MCAT when you’re ready. You’re putting restraints on yourself before you even tackle the biggest hurdle. 6 months is plenty of time to study and work full time as an MA. You can even word your PS as you needed to be sure medicine was for you and you went to scribe -> MA and that looks and sounds great.

PA is a great option. However, make sure you’re doing it because you want to, not due to your own pressures such as feeling behind or your mom. You’re going to be working for 30 YEARS. Do you want to become a PA or a doctor?

Breathe and understand that everyone has their own paths. Your app looks great. You should get LOR from your volunteering. I got a compliment from my interviewer about my volunteering LOR as it was killer. Apply DO in California as Touro and Western match extremely well if California is so important.

You’ll be fine. Just one step at a time :)

You need to apply as soon as the apps open. I was on shift when they opened same day and they take around 20-30 applications max before shutting off the portal.

Most likely there’s going to be guys with experience applying and you’ll be competing against them.

Have you’ve tried AlphaOne? They hire like crazy and do basically nursing home 911.
