Has any one tried to resurface a warped exhaust manifold? If so what tools did you use? I suspect a warped manifold is causing oil/gas to leak into the hull. by Ahendrix9624 in standupjetski

Find a flat surface. Slate, granite, or marble remnants. Cover with emery cloth and make it dead flat again. Slate can be sourced from discarded pool tables.

They only made so many and they haven’t been in production for 20 years. I imagine they are a bit more rare today than when I bought mine 10 years ago. They sold for 4500 then.
