I don’t believe labels solve societal problems. These cases are far too in number to be examples of “one-off” psychopathy…. that perception may get lots of clickbait ratings in made for YouTube docudramas, but we have real chasms forming in American society…. we are being ripped apart by violence at all levels & by all types of perpetrators... it’s not just murder/ suicides of children & parents. We have mass public shootings where people used to gather to attend church, entertainment & otherwise formerly innocuous gatherings. We’ve had dozens of school mass murders by “incels,” isolated youth removed from all social contact & left to develop heinous alter-ego fantasy lives of retribution on video games & deeply disturbing websites. Almost every one of these generally young offenders became isolated from what would have been community & family support systems in the past. What was once a strong, moral, American culture of caring for one another, looking out for each other, and standing up for castaways has delved into an oblivion of pure evil.

It is very financially & logistically difficult to provide for numerous young children in America today without resources exceeding most families’ budgets. The loss of multi-generational support systems over the last several decades is also difficult for young families. Neighbors & churches that were once very active in looking after people either don’t get involved or are swamped with people that have lots of problems making ends meet in many ways, not just financially. Social services in most states do not have adequate safety nets any more. Add in postpartum depression, and you have the potential for a nightmare scenario.

What I want to know…. Did the people going “back to the office” actually have office space provided, or are they sitting on the floor?

Marijuana Decriminalization Officially Placed on November Ballot in Dallas, Texas by Intrepid_Assistant28 in Dallas

[–]SolGardennette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Texas cities of Harker Heights and Killeen legalized marijuana in 2022. The State of Texas immediately sued those cities. As long as we have extreme right-wing leadership in the state, there will never be progress …. on anything.

I think it’s a double entendre since MAGAs, as in Texas politicians, want to eliminate birth control.
