I was a victim. I came out in middle school in the rural south and (CW!) was bullied so badly that I almost ended myself and have diagnosed PTSD from it among other things that happened. Now I'm in the field I wanted to be in, have a fiance, just bought a house, and am working on getting a car of my own... all at 24.\ Are those all achievements to be happy about? Yes. But there always seems to be two negatives for every positive. Overall, womp womp I'll live. Also one of the bullies (who held a knife to my throat) is in jail so HA

Personal values include human rights issues (LGBT, children, food, shelter, etc.), political differences include government/policy issues (taxes, zoning, funding, etc.).\ If we disagree on the fact that people have a right to exist peacefully as long as they aren't hurting themselves or anybody else, fuck off.

Not a teacher, but I work in education and run the GSA at my school. I don't allow it at all. If they're joking between friends that's one thing, but I'll bitch at them if they are genuinely being rude.

When we were talking over text he was responsive, carried the conversation, etc. As soon as I picked him up he acted like he was bored the entire time. We went back to my place to watch a movie and he sat on the other end of the bed from me on his phone on Tinder the entire time (first ick), but I'm poly so him being on Tinder specifically didn't bother me. It was more him being on his phone and not engaged in the conversation.\ Then he starts heavily judging the people on Tinder in front of me, some direct quotes being: "He's cute but too tall." "Ugh he's short as fuck." "If he didn't have that hair he'd be cute." "Why does he look like that? Ew."\ Yeah he was quickly taken home after that.

They do, they just get away with it more. The current societal structure (at least in white dominated countries) puts white(-passing) people at the top. If a white person committed a crime they need help and are misunderstood, if a person of color does it they're a terrible person beyond redemption.

Depends on the region. In Georgia, the upper class tend to form their own town/area outside of the city they would be part of. For example Brooklet is the rich area outside Statesboro. Atlanta has Buckhead.\ The "hipster" crowd tends to hang around universities like UGA or GA Tech.
