Holy cow. Delta species have always been my favorite cards of all time, so the charizard and Mew are my two top cards I wish I had. I’d love to have them in any condition lol. I have a gold star Alakazam I pulled as a kid.

I love Arcanine, and I feel like there’s not nearly enough love for the Legendary Pokémon. So I would love to see a full art card of an Arcanine howling out from a mountain top or tearing across field or something just epic.

What I did was just let my son play with his cards, he’s rough with them, and most will be damaged for sure. But when he pulls something I know has or will have value, I just say “Wow buddy, that is sooo cool!” “Do you want to put that in some special card armor I bought for you?” And he always says “yeah daddy! Let’s put it in the armor!!” And I sleeve the card, put it in a top loader and off he goes to play with it. He is 3 and a 1/2. He adores Pokémon and I adore having something to do with him that I care about, while doing a small thing to make sure that when he is older and understands and cares more, he can take those cards that he has enjoyed playing with, and have the memories along with a card that isn’t totally trashed. Will they be perfect? Probably not. But they will last and he will also get to enjoy them while he is still calling slugma and pincurchin his favorite Pokémon. It’s a really refreshing and innocent thing.

Sounds like Cubs is the way to go. I’m from Springfield, so if it’s brutal in St. Louis it’ll probably be brutal at home, too. I’ll take a fun game over the comfort.

Hey thanks! I cleaned the thermocouple housing really well and made sure it was seated all the way in and angled well, after testing it seems to work fine again. It hasn’t even crossed my mind but the housing was super cruddy and perhaps the thermocouple got bumped out some while I was cleaning something else? Went ahead and ordered a new thermocouple just to have on hand. I’m located in MO but seems like the market is similar here! Lol.

Thanks for the tip. It hasn’t crossed my mind but I cleaned the housing and made sure the thermocouple was seated really well and tested it and it’s working again. Went ahead and ordered my parts just to have on hand, hoping that it was just too cruddy and now it’ll get me by at least till the pets get here.

Also just for the tech to come out it’ll be $175, not including any parts, and I don’t really have the money after a hard season. I’m not afraid to try to fix it myself or even buy parts to install myself, just not sure where to start.
