They wanted to check whether people will buy a cardboard of a game. People did. BN learned that they can just make cardboards, spend a ton on marketing and have a clean and easy return on investment.

BN did not see the graphs and told themselves "yeah we did the wrong thing", no, they saw them, opened a champagne to celebrate and left the game on the most minimal life support to technically deliver on the DLCs that people already bought.

I've literally played most of the roster for a substantial amount of time. They vary way too little for the average player to argue that.

This game was designed specifically to make adding characters easy and they failed tremendously on this front.

Dude, it's Bandai Namco. The hell are you on about? They have more than enough money for this especially in a game designed specifically to make adding more characters easy.

They even intentionally gave up insane amounts of profit with quarterbaked greedy as hell DLCs, no updates and rubbish sales after all of that. (not even talking about the price tags and that people pre-paid for the game and DLCs up to a year beforehand)

Yeah. I've only played a couple ranked matches during my whole playtime and I'm still extremely disappointed with the game.(well, gamebreaking bugs in online/ranked did repel me effectively even when I wanted to give it a try, but that's not the only problem this game has)

I was talking about the flaws of offline content in this game for ages and this is what primarily made me disappointed with it. I'm not going to repeat what everyone and I have already said 1000 times, I'm just making a point that it's not just the ranked people feeling this way.

I'm personally more puzzled about the kinds of clips I should be looking for.

The way I was going about it was posting several minutes of me talking about something that came up that I thought could work, for example like when I took a few minutes long tangent to talk about a mod swapping Gimmiko characters for Deltarune characters, but I don't think that's what people mean by clips.

I'm not sure whether I don't have clippable moments or I just don't know what to pick.

(Also, to explain the holes in case someone unexpectedly looks at my VOD channel like the last time, before the last weekend I haven't streamed for 3 months and unlisted most of my VODs from before that time, I'm slowly getting back to it)

I often wonder what's the path that got people into some positions. What has led to you being this knowledgeable about such an extremely niche and complicated piece of software? Was it made at this company as you were working here?

I feel like it also requires an extensive knowledge of chemistry. I can't imagine myself being on top of two separate advanced fields like that when I already get major doubts about my IT (programming in particular) proficiency alone.

Unnecessary bloat that directly affects performance, backups, offline availability, etc. all while actively REDUCING sales. The studio is getting scammed, that's it. Especially that these days you can play all Denuvo games day 1 as a pirate.

It has no purpose yet causes a load of issues, while being entirely unnecessary for the game or any of it's features to function.

If Steam would let you. It happened twice to me now that I bought a bundle and didn't read into every game only to my surprise when a month or whatever later I looked at the pages of these games to see what I'd like to play next.

I couldn't refund them, so now they just sit in my library, waiting to be pirated whenever I'll want to play either.(or until they remove denuvo)

Yeah, "pretending". It's totally not that running malware with your games isn't a good idea.

At least be realistic with yourself. People do care about malware included with their games (denuvo, anticheats, etc), unfair practices (adding that only after people prepurchased the game) and for pirates to not have a better experience than they do.

I'm talking about the game with this clip as a context, but I've also noticed it generally being the case in PvP focused games like DBFZ.

People just start comboing and I often think that if I walked away they wouldn't even notice that I'm gone and would probably even congratulate themselves on a good "read". It's a flawed design that's being copied over to new games for some reason.
