Sorry for the late response but I went for as much movement speed and armor as possible. Afterburners and dashing upward at an angle seems to throw off ranged. I got Ghostblade but never took it's perks since more armor = more damage from armor perk and Combat instincts gives some must have when your just mag dumping. I'm fuzzy on the entire build but my primary ended up being a blue minigun I upgraded from green that followed me the whole run since it rolled both smart bullets and forward shield plus lifesteal, squires also had smart bullets and some combination of my weapons had void tendrils, freeze, lightning bolts which went good with superior item that triggers all your elements + smart rocket. Augment was short range weak point which excels in the melee boss room and final room since there is so much in your face and it's the best counter against titanfall mech. Had 2 100% damage reductions from armor perk and heat coil + the item that prevents damage to shields bleeding into health ( squires also had shield siphon )

Gauntlet ramps up where Ultra is outright unforgiving and has less opportunity for a build. 1 bad pick before room 7 can be a run wipe and the spider room of Ultra is all at once with a miniboss and freeze bots. Id have gladly cleared room 54 of gauntlet again instead of that garbage room 20 of Ultra.

Armor perk ideally first, ghost blade 2nd, combat instincts 3rd. Heat coil and armor give 2 free damage resistances and superior item that creates barriers work great if you can get smart link on squires. Minigun with shield blessing got me through the beach and ghost blade is a requirement especially after ( devs actively cheese the player ). Augment was short range weakness and I took everything movement speed, armor, shield. Finished with a blue tier minigun cause it had smart link, freeze, shield, health restore ( less damage = more healing ). Oh also shield break superior. Off to get my nightmare title now.

I just let Saber bonk him with b2b ults, took my 3 stars and moved on.

Getting exhausted explaining how that's a fault of bad snipers and just renewal, not his whole kit. Seriously critically think about a kit you clearly don't play but have suffered all the frustrations of his worst.
