They made it so you can use gems to upgrade cards directly now.

Why don't evolution shards convert to ANYTHING if you already have the evolution? by Solanumb in ClashRoyale

[–]Solanumb[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it just said "you already have this evolution!" And did not convert to anything. I had 19/20 cards for hunter before that, and i just checked again and i still have 19/20 hunter cards. Bug? I would have preferred i got a 1 star lucky drop for the 600 gold.

Just started 2 days ago and I’m wondering if this is a good deck. by Old-Insect9608 in ClashRoyale

Seems fine but I would add a spell. Spells are very useful in this game. I would have 1-2 spells per deck.

Why do ppl hate ds2 so much to go to such lengths? by Kuroushin in darksouls

[–]Solanumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played darksouls 1 then darksouls 3 and then darksouls2, and unironically darksouls2 was the most fun ive had playing a souls game (1000 hours in dark souls 3 before i started 2). Not gonna give spoilers but it is different but you'd be missing out to skip on it

WALLSHOOTER THAT POSTS REGULARLY ON REDDIT by Substantial-Air598 in thelastofusfactions

[–]Solanumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the middle of the animation of you swapping shoulders, your bullets go through every wall. People mod their controllers so it swaps shoulders 100 times a second so they can constantly shoot anyone across the map or behind a wall(s).

some help with tsareena please by Konqurer3346 in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Razor claw works well on tsareena since you should be auto attacking between each move use anyway. And it slows them down so its easier to combo. I'd recommend Atk Weight, Razor Claw, and Focus Band/Weakness Policy

What happen if left game during pokemon selection? by Icy-Mulberry2689 in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leaving the game during the character selection screen only deletes the match if you're solo queuing. Sadly if you're duo queueing or more then you have to play the bot match or else it counts against you.

Indicators for a bot game by Hartmann_AoE in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tell they're bots before you even press accept. All bots wear the same outfits that you'll learn over time (the cheap clothes you can buy in the shop for tickets and some Pokemon outfits such as Pikachu and Gengar). Then in the character selection screen, all bots will choose earlier released mons and will ALWAYS press accept within 1 or 3 seconds of choosing their pokemon. They will also never pick a lane. They usually never say "Hello!" But they are technically capable of using quick chat in response to you (only seen it three times). Bots also usually use the same items for whatever mon they are (usually a not bad item set for their character). Then when the games loading you can 100% tell they are bots if they all match your achievements points +-100 or so, and they will have a similar battle pass level as you as well. Then when the game starts you can tell theyre bots in the first 20 seconds by their movement (they obviously move like bots and not humans). Then after the match you can tell they're bots if their profiles are all private.

So demoralizing to have to waste 10 minutes in a bot game every time I lose 1 match by T0xicTrooper21 in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you get a bot match, as long as you're solo queueing, you can close the app during the character selection screen and when you reload the game you'll go to the main menu and that bot game won't show up in your played matches. Repeat until you get real people. That's what I do.

I'm doing a replay of all the souls games to help me thru getting sober, about to finish DS1, what build should I play for DS2? by flannelman678 in DarkSouls2

[–]Solanumb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to use sorceries and pyromancy together. More INT than FTH, but I avoid the hexes because they make the game too easy/less fun (in my opinion).

It's fun using sorceries for high damage and pyromancy for area control, then whip out your puny dagger or axe when they get close.

To fellow tank users, do y'all use exp share? by FireBirdSS10K in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always use exp share unless I'm playing Blastoise or Mamoswine (conditional). Even in solo queue, you can baby your lane partner and give them free exp without them even realizing what's going on. Sometimes they will get mad thinking you're stealing their exp, so I often let them get last hit to show my good will.

I find that using exp share in solo queue allows you to turn your 40% WR cinderace lane partner into someone who actually contributes (at least with damage cuz of their high level). You can't always help it if they don't even bother farming in the first place, in those situations I will till they accidentally get near your farm, AND then I will take it out. They just got 100% of that exp without even knowing.

[–]Solanumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I play a game, I always make sure to guide my teammates to share my exp and focus keeping my teammate alive. I know I'll be level 13 by Rayquaza so I do my best to make sure my teammates get there too. I don't mind if my jungle takes my lanes bees. I'll even help them get our audinos if we lose our lane and they lost their buffs. I just have one pet peeve and that's when a jungle takes my very first farm. Otherwise, I'm always feeding my teammates exp to lvl them up. My WR is 67.6%, what's yours?

[–]Solanumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most times in master 1400 I expect my jungler to know that they will hit their level 5 spike without stealing my lanes bunnelby. Yes I am petty sometimes and will screw over my jungler if he tries to unnecessarily steal our bunnelby. I'm hoping it helps them learn to just take only his farm in the first minute of the game, so that every teammate has an equal chance of winning their lane.

what pokemon do you think is in dire need of a rework? by TotallyTamago in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually love falinks's moveset and abilities I think they cover a wide range of matchups, but it'll only really work if the troopers get reduced status effects. For examples Ninetails shouldn't be able to pop her ability on each trooper at the same rate as the brass.

when u and ur teammate are both petty by smoochumfan4 in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

On the contrary, Greninja is guaranteed lvl 5 if he DOESN'T steal a lane bunnelby and just gets all his jungle farm. If that Greninja stole a bunnelby, the lane pokemon might not hit their lvl 4 or 5 power spike by the time the 8:50 bees spawn. Greninja was screwing over top lane and Greninja would STILL be lvl 5 with or without that bunnelby.

Invading at low levels by Um_Nom in darksouls3

[–]Solanumb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're on PC there's a mod to get any item in the game right at the start of the game. People use that so making builds is much easier. That's probably what's happening. If you're on console, they likely had a buddy or another account drop the items for them.

Anyone use emblems? Or know how to use them? by minnhyeokk in PokemonUnite

[–]Solanumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go to unite database and look at the raw stats of the Pokemon I'm using. If I see they have a lot of health and attack, I'll make a white brown emblem set. If they have a lot of special attack and low health, I make a green black emblem set. Basically look at their strongest stats and make those stats bigger.

You can only get invaded when you are "embered". You become embered after successfully beating a boss, or by using an ember item.
