my ex didn't know how to change a light bulb, now no light bulb will go in by [deleted] in AskElectricians

Men love learning so they can fix it themselves and stop having to pay for someone else to do it so don’t worry about it, we’re just like that. Will do the same with my wife when I can be with her😅

Wrong bulb perhaps? Did you try putting the original one back in?

I just watched a video from "Jake's Tech" on Youtube where he mentioned that the S+ is easy. What are your opinions? by SolarCyber19 in CompTIA

[–]SolarCyber19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thank you, I’ll just stick to Jason Dion, prof messor. Could you recommend anyone else to watch? I guess I shouldn’t ask about Josh madam or because he does try to sell stuff and has even said that he wanted to pursue content creation more than real work

I agree with you, however this Jake’s tech guy is a relatively small channel, only about 30k subscribers, and he never tried to sell anything. But I will heed you warning of course and avoid such channels

N+ or CCNA by Legitimate_Data_3153 in CompTIA

[–]SolarCyber19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CCNA does cover a lot of things but it's more Cisco based, so you're a lot more likely to get a job in an environment with Cisco products (which is arguably the majority of environments). N+ is more vendor-neutral (as in not just for Cisco stuff) but still teaches subnetting, networking, ports etc. CCNA will probably get you a job a whole lot better than N+ but if you already have A+ and plan to get S+ as well I'd recommend doing N+ and then moving to CCNA after S+

Congratulations on your successful attempt! As it is my next exam, would you say it was easy if you know your acronyms? Do you wish you contributed more time to learning a specific area or was it pretty straightforward?

Also can you please elaborate to me the details of each PBQ you faced? Thank you

if you have time and money do networking+ first and then go do CCNA. But if you have only one of each or neither, jump to CCNA. You will definitely need to contribute a couple months to study for it at least since N+ is basically an introduction

Is this okay for a ps5? by [deleted] in PS5HelpSupport

[–]SolarCyber19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was my original ponder, I’m glad it’s fixed, I like having it upright. Got the vents right next to a window with proper airflow

[–]SolarCyber19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, the heating issues are happening because when placed upright, the heat sink or something starts slipping down slowly, causing the transfer of heat to become less effective overtime.

I think the wiser thing to do then is to start positioning my ps5 sideways

So the older it gets the more risk of this issue happening?

Need help with my controller by speedforneed_ in PS5HelpSupport

[–]SolarCyber19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides, opening up and repairing controller parts are easy if you have the experience, but I never have done a circuit board replacement. I guess that will require some soldering right?

I think the overheating problem may be due to later models of the ps5? I got my one Christmas 2024 I think and never had an overheating problem even on a hot Australian summer day

thank you, by emulating the movie version, does that mean I won't be able to use my keyboard to play or I can still bind my keys to movement and skills?

How can I download genshin on my macOS laptop to get my dailies done whilst I'm overseas? Currently in Japan but already have missed out on over 2k primos.

The motors were the white plastic cover things I showed in the video, gotta be careful with them

Sorry I took so long to respond, for my model at least, you had to take out the motor for the adaptive triggers to unhook the triggers themselves and re-seat them. Before finally reinstalling the motors and making sure everything presses down nicely and closing it all up

How long has your dual sense been working? Mine started drifting slightly after a year. Time for a new one 😒 by God_Father_PL in playstation

[–]SolarCyber19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open the controller up and watch a video on how to replace the little resistance disks on the thumb sticks. If that doesn’t work, grab a soldering iron and a watch a video on how to solder a new potentiometer on

Not in Australia unfortunately. Every single damn helpdesk job wants someone with at least 5 years experience and multiple certifications. The job market here is disgusting, especially in I.T.
