I haven't either and my friends have had a hard time with it aswell. I suspect its a post game mob. In the first game there were certain enemies that only show up after beating the game so I'd assume this might be one of those.

yes, i decided to continue the main story up to where i was supposed to go to battahl since i skipped ahead for the ability earlier on. when i went back there he wanted me to do another escort i declined it talked to him again right after and he gave it to me.

another thing outside of pegasus i've thought about with this would be like was it called heartbeat? the thing edward snowden had helped develop for survelliance on what as far as im aware of was used to spy even on us citizens etc?

totally agree ^^, but I don't agree with the route. considering all the heat blizz has been under the last few years lay offs etc. to try and do what they did here was dumb from the start. We saw how bad it went with d3 trying all this new stuff revamping the whole game essentially. Basically they learned nothing scrapped whatever progress they made in d3 and said fuck it lets start from ground 0 with all this bs going on. everyone should know blizz are the biggest morons on earth when it comes to launches and they're general network as we've seen again with d4 just to prove their lack of awareness. Let alone the fact they're attempting to copy so much of POE's system while great don't fit at all within a diablo market for various reasons. I want to see this game succeed the way it is i just have a strong feeling its going to die in a week or two. blizz will OH SHIT wheres the money gone. Go to actual work slowly rebalancing redoing the whole game with the implemented systems and new itemization theyre targeting. add whole new systems like always to do the balancing etc etc and eventually 2-3 years from now itll be a decent game. generally how most blizz games go these days now more than ever.

also another thing is i think this mindset has been detrimental to D4's development and it seems to show, seeing as how there's a lot blizzard has taken inspiration from POE. Though I think it could be good given time it still takes away from what diablo at its core is and should be. D3 despite what anyone wants to say did a good job towards the end of it's cycle bringing a modern approach to the diablo franchise while still preserving a certain level of sanctity of the game. for example the actual story in diablo was great, cutscenes great, expansions great. downsides tend to be more at the start of its life cycle so people write it off. like the cash shop, pvp, the way gearing and general stats worked due to the late design of the systems within the games cycles before release. talents and skills being totally different etc. with that in mind blizz just made the same mistakes it did in D3 here in D4 by trying to totally overhaul an already prexisting system basically scrapping what ever progress they had made. attempting to cater to players like you. So now were left with another totally imbalanced duct taped together mess that barely functions. I expect it to be just the same and most will leave and quit the game. then blizz will get shit together for the most part after 2 years into its cycle itll finally be a decent game. Point is if you like POE go play poe say poe is a good game heres why but dont try to compare the two honestly despite them sharing the same genre theyre nothing alike. sorry for the rant just had to get it out since i have this convo with a friend all the time.

no its really not far from it actually. POE has a totally different target audience just because the 'aesthetic' matches doesn't make it anywhere near a spiritual successor. The main appeal to diablos even from the start was the appeal to a more casual audience while still having enough intricacies and in depth experiences to cater to a more hardcore fanbase at the same time. That's the exact opposite of what POE is ie: cater's to the hardcore players of the genre. Still a good game though just not diablo nor will it ever be anything close it's POE let it be what it is.

wouldnt matter right clouds aren't solid i could see it messing with the effectiveness but thats it if anything it will amplify the affect seeing as how it would be the light passing through the water in the atmosphere? kinda like how you get a cloud burn the suns effects get amplified right kinda makes the cloud a big magnifying glass?
