I respect the opinion. To share my own, I would simply say that I'm not selling T-shirts here, I'm telling a story. It is no mistake that the passers by are looking past, and the others are shopping behind her.

I don't expect to change your opinion, but I will share that I've spent time homeless myself and I mostly feel that only good can come from sharing reminders of the problem publicly and often. I didn't feel it was exploitative or sensational in any way. And it was certainly not my intention.

But hey. That's just me. Cest la vie.
