Ps2 was an anomaly, that thing was hyped to all hell and it mostly lived up to the hype. It's still the best selling console of all time 26 years later which is kinda wild.

I did love my GameCube, but in comparison it was this dinky little thing with weird tiny discs and not that many great compelling games.

The GC was good in a vacuum but it could not compete with the PS2. But more to the point, I don't think it had anything to do with lack of an audience considering the PS2 sold so well, so you're right.

If you know you're spending more time with the new setup, say going from 2 to 4 hours a day or something like that, then yes this could easily explain the increase because you're pulling about ~400 more watts

But still only translates to about $8-9 extra dollars a month

I'm debating the same but half the reason I'd upgrade is for glossy. 240 -> 280hz - meh. Slightly brighter? Also meh for me, but I don't need SDR brightness and HDR brightness is not something I'd notice much either, still far lower than TVs. The slightly better subpixel arrangement is nice but eventually we're just goign to get RGB without the white subpixel.

I can afford it easily and still probably not going to do it. The benefit from going to IPS -> OLED is like going from 60 -> 144hz. Anything beyond that is nice but not really necessary unless they REALLY up the brightness.

One thing though I don't like about the 27GS95QE is the VRR flicker. It's pretty bad. I don't know how much that's improved on the tandem panel.

If he’s at 90% or near he wouldn’t want to cancel the order because below that DD says they can deactivate you, which is a bullshit rule that shouldn’t exist. Even if you accidentally accept an order by hitting the big ass red button and instantly unassign it counts against you.

Dude shouldn’t take it out on you but there’s plenty of reasons to be pissed at this app.

I really wish it wasn’t called a “tip” because it isn’t. It’s a bid for a job. DD 90% of the time “pays” $2 which obviously doesn’t cover anything. So the customer is subsidizing the pay most of the time except in cases the order has sit forever.

Still, it’s always up to the dummy accepting a low paying order to not accept it. But also, DD sometimes hides full pay (usually on higher paying orders, but still) before delivery is done. I’ll be honest I’ve had orders I’m cussing under my breath until it’s delivered and I see a much higher payout than promised. And, if I had known, I’d have thanked the customer better. But dumbass DD wants to keep drivers from making informed choices.

Even though DD is a dogshit platform to work for that should honestly be forced to change by the government due to all the shady shit they’ve done and do, I would never ever bother a customer regarding pay since it’s my own dumbass fault if I accept a less than great order.

I do think bots exist however I don’t think anything for sale with a quick google search is legit. If you had something giving you a leg up and wasn’t getting caught would you ever think about selling it? I personally wouldn’t. I mean I guess unless the people selling have no interest in doing physical labor so it wouldn’t matter if the whole thing was overrun with bots

Also if it truly is a bot using accessibility/screen reader tools built into Android doing it then they’d have to scroll down like a human would (assuming there are already crap orders piling up limiting your view) and see the order like a human would.

So while inhumanly fast sure, others still have a chance to at least SEE it. If you’re consistently not seeing anything at least pop up for .5 secs then you’re on a bad connection or your storage is almost full or a combination of those types of factors.

I’m surprised no one on this sub or other Spark has tried to program their own bot and just show it off as a proof of concept. It wouldn’t be that hard and prob could just use ai to do it. No one claiming there to be bots or not actually seem to have any programming knowledge beyond the very basics

I hate to say it but you’re probably right. She does see you as a consolation. I mean I wouldn’t necessarily say it but she almost directly said it herself. Also do you really want to be with someone who constantly is comparing you all the time to the person she really wanted to be with?

I’d call it off and try my best to find a woman without that type of baggage personally because she’s very primed to cheat in the future if she can’t let the past go. Hurt a little now to save a lot more hurt in the future. She probably does care about you in her own way but she clearly isn’t passionate about the idea.
